21st of August will be a fun day to trade. If 97 doesn't break untill London session, daily candle should get green for bit (assuming only speculative movements till FOMC).

on the 1h chart went short at 97.04 at the third test.
use leverage with caution...

Opened shorts at 97.415 (playing M1 charts sometimes proves to be usefull) and about to take profit anywhere near 97.0XX, as u mentioned. Probably won't close all shorts, as around 13.00 GMT+01 seems to be crucial (97 support + shorter bullish trendline from the double bottom formation at ~96 will cross at that point - according to H1 chart - giving much more reasons to close shorts for bit). Untill then I will take profit at 97 and hedge with 3:1 or 4:1 Long.

Also it is reasonable to assume that price shouldn't do more than 150 pips during one hour of speculation (not talking about actual FOMC info), thus there is ALOT of room for speculations during London/New York sessions.

it was obvious when its rejected and failed to break through 97.00 several times and now gearing up , my targets are 99.25 , 101.00 and long term 104.000

I got in at 97.615 targeting 97.00. This is a very good position to take 40pips

Hello everyone. I am new here and wanted to say hello to everyone. I trade the USD and JPY often as well.
What happened this afternoon was a spike in US futures of US30. When they spike from 14,956 to 14,975 the Japanese YEN also dropped against the USD from around 97.30 to 97.65

I expect the DOW to open down and as we see futures correct from these gains to further losses the YEN should one back to around 97.3-97.4 before opening bell. If market in US takes a big dive then YEN may see 97-97.2 after opening bell.
