I don't see any kind of price action that would indicate we are heading lower. When markets are opening they are holding the open and then taking off.

I see a rally to the 61.8 fib mark of the recent 170 pip drop. The drop was quick and clean. The rally was slow and sporadic.

We're also at the 50% fib point of the recent daily drop from 100 to 96. And running into resistance.

My bets on the short side for now.

Fibs are all fine and dandy, but I see resistance at 98.20 and the right around 99. Hope your short position isnt to big.

have 2 almost full time weeks until end of august
usd/jpy move when the trend is clear and strong (not extremely strong)
bullish or bearish dosen't matter
is 150 pips per week
so in a bearish trend
can see 94... (300 pips)

Grr shame i was waiting for 98.20 and was watching crude oil and gold too much to short UJ.. But it looks so bearish. Might get killed.

AUD/JPY looks most bearish of all the pairs and close to 80% are long according to Oanda, bad sign for AJ haha

EUR/JPY also looks ready to fall off a cliff down to 128 over the coming days which is then the neckline to a daily H@S with a break extending down to 125. I like this short setup better than USD/JPY since EUR/USD also looks ready to fall on the daily.

Would still like to see 98.20, can happen this session, it's clear the momentum is to downside. But for now it seems more like a sideways, stop everyone out of their position game.

Wednesdays Minutes: I have no idea. It's so hard to predict what news events are going to do. Usually better to have no positions and see what happens/ look at the higher time frames for clues on the next move.

I think we'll see 97 before 98. Retest of the 97 low seems like the next target.
