There was one billion fat finger in Shanghai but not sure if that was the cause?

Did some homework and have reason to believe that an XAU/USD target around 1,400 is likely. My chart below shows 3 counts and to be honest the one that "feels" best is the red Alt count. Thanks - I did find that on forexlive - posted 3 hours ago and that seems to show the Shanghai move at ~16 mins after 23:00 - but I'm not certain IF that is 16:14 gmt......IMO forexlive are bloody useless so I guess I'll have to pay for talkingforex.....

Not necessarily; you can get it free through FXPro using a demo account

interesting I use FXPro on a live account via that other company that we used with Medici.....I'll see if I can get it that way....

Edit: I should have said ProRealTime charting - now IF they off that service I'll be happy

The only way I can get it to work is if you log in - 'Tools' - 'Market News' - 'FxPro Squawk'

There's another link for it in there somewhere but it doesn't work any more; at least for demo accounts.

Hello Islander and good morning to you. Long covering Usd across the board following poor Philly figures. On Forexlive: They might be "bloody useless" for your needs but l think it's a good site for free. Trust me if you want real news on the nail you have to pay for it and if you want a proper live feed have you tried "tradethenews.com".? They're not expensive and I think you can get a free trial.

Thanks for the info - I'll take a look at that site. I liked Forexlive until those two English guys left and started their own site which they then had to close at the end of last month. With them they kept up to date with the news - ulike I'm now finding with Forexlive.

BTW - nice to see you here in PT's thread - I'm certain that he would appreciate more visits - I certainly would

flat except for ES overnights from yesterday where im still down about 20 ticks. dont really want to touch EU or crude until it makes a move to major S/R.. so maybe no trades today.

I'm thinking more so 1.3388, otherwise I am in total agreement of more up before down.

Ah, you are talking about gold.

I shorted eu this morning and thought you are pointing out the top of eu. 1.3380 looks very similar to 1380. Better look closely...

I had a pending sell order at 1.3387 (EUR/USD), but the final wave got truncated at an M5 double top and didn't get triggered.
Now waiting for 1.3325 to give way and see a daily close below so that I can start selling rallies next week.

I was just plain lucky. It just so happens I had a look at my platform and got in at 3371 and followed with 3358, happy with my average of 3365. Close below 3325 would keep me happy over the weekend..
