Hi gator.. i found them.. how do you decide which slice of apple to take... half to target is one.. 1 quarter pounder back to half (with ref to first range)? is there a reason for that? this is almost like taiqi ying and yang..

I think some here have the notion that the European central banks want the Euro to be strong. When economies are struggling across the globe, most nation states want a weak currency in order to stimulate their economy. The Europeans won on this round. That's why when you here the Bernanke's and the like make seeming contradicting statements about their currency; they want people to believe their currency is great but stress the economy is bad. It's a balancing act that no one central bank wants their currency to go in extreme up or down. They want balance relative to the other major currencies.

Regardless of what European banks want, I'm always biased to have a strong US Dollar because my account is in US$

I have follow with interest Mr. Hath as well, though it might surprise him. Look at the dates under the names. They indicate that person has persisted in this endeavor at least that long.
I read everybody. Even an off-the -wall sounding idea sounded by someone else may trigger one of your own, one that fits in your system and personality and allows your ability to grow. The pain of repeated loss is a feedback that should steer you away from the bad ones. (They may fit another's personality and system, but not yours). Learning to discern the difference between bad luck and bad strategy is an art. So is the art of discerning between good luck and good strategy.

If an idea seems silly or repulsive to you now, reject it for now.

I have faith in a person's ability to learn and improve.

Although I have a US account as well, a strong US dollar does not help our economy at this point in time. But currency trading has little to do with philosophical beliefs. It has everything to do with the trend. I counter-trend on occasion but safety is in the trend.
