You are 100% correct if one is looking at "Hedging" (Contra-Trade) in a superficial way. There is a lot more to this tactic but many never tried to explore because to them contra-trades are nothing more than postponing loss recognition. Contra-trading is far more deeper a subject than many believe.

either another better short or it keeps going... all good for me... any more comments?

edit: if it drops back below I have 7 pips to spare to figure out if that's a fake or not.. and resume my short..

the bears managed to protect the 1.328x, the fact that we close as an insidebar - pretty much suggested that stops should be tightened..

it happens a lot of times, the setup is there, the rr is there but then the PA pretty much fail to confirm the setup.. it's a good thing to have the if-then-if scenario, it helps you understand what actually happens with the PA..

at any rate, not much to do for me, the insidebar pretty much ended my week in the euro.. cable just keeps choppin around, still waiting for the same area to be tested..

it's pretty much a period where the patience is being tested constantly.. but again, the smart ones says good trading is boring trading..

you fill a pot 5 gallon water and pour it out 2 gallon water, no matter how you tell people what happened to the pot, the pot has 3 gallon water left.

you can take the pot to a mountain high level, it has 3 gallon water in it. you can also take the pot to a subway and leave it on a train seat, it still has 3 gallon water in it.

you really don't want to understand.... it's all a shell game.. you can look at it whichever way you want, and try to take the trader out of the equation... you can't... the only thing that matters is WHAT YOU DO.. that's it..
