I can make 40 % for the next 50 weeks or whatever...... Do you even know how much that would be after say the 20th week even????? We're talking 40 million a year.

It's not about how much you can make in a week rather how much you are currently risking. If you say you made 40% risking 0,5% of your account I would say you are the best trader ever but if you are risking all your account in one single trade you only need a couple of really bad days to take you out of the game completely also risking most of your capital increases the emotional stress leading to bad decisions. You can be lucky for most of the time but not every time, having said that it's only up to you to decide how you trade. It's not about number of pips either, you can have two traders making the same number of pips and in the end only one ends up in profit due to good MM.

HFT just speeds up the process as well as front run humans, nothing else
