Frankly, anybody that blindly followed HDA's trade without doing their own analysis deserves to blow their account and most likely will at some point anyway. Newbie or not. Experience is the best teacher after all. Even though he kept posting how he was short and staying short, I didn't go that route because it didn't jive with what I was seeing in my charts and my trading plan. That didnt mean I didn't appreciate what he added to the thread. I, for one, took what he was saying into account and chalked it up as having just a bit more knowledge about how the markets work- I definitely appreciated his contributions to this thread and I hope he still continues to post. With that said, long EU to 1.5. Do not flinch, do not waver in holding it.

Just going sideways.... IF you look at the EURUSD on a weekly chart, it's doing nothing other than trading in a very wide sideways range. short at the top and cover near the lows.

Check out this website, it has really helped me out!

i still remember that you couldn't have an opinion here as there was always someone with an opposite view that always knew a lot more than you. that was the nicest thing about the rut: everyone knew that one can never be sure.

i also remember that there was a lot of dick measuring going on here. but i did learn a lot a got to know the people that lead or made me company in this path.

other than that, i'm fine. still not trading for a living as i dream but getting closer and closer.

yes I am same 1. 33998 bears may want that .00002 pip and a retest would be quite normal even expected, for 34 I have a zone of 11pip +or- mid june bulls pierced over and over until they were finally exhausted and bears started train and left station
will it happen again who knows, who cares, any level either resist or support has a used by date, all we can do is work out a plan and trade it.

I actually don't have a monthly level @ 34 but I do have a monthly support on swissy @ 9174 which she tapped lightly yesterday, so is a combination of 1st that holding, and 34 plus pierces holding for now my pending triggered this morning and I am looking to build multiple entries around there, they will be tight, and I will be pb to offset each ones sl risk, I am prepared to even increase my risk (just a little) because if they all hold, the could become short to medium term trades,

could / should be a nice move today on aussie, kiwi and yen this afternoon with yen aud and yuan data rleases in succession, so going over au ku gj charts now

Ii have taken a seat at the back of the class for several years now, watching and learning. from my vantage observation post, these are my unbiased observations:
HDA is an excellent trader no doubt with a rich arsenal of resources for currency trading . I was in EUR/USD short trade when he appeared with his "sell the EUR warning. confidently, I held my trades.(felt good to be on the same page as a professional). however, when he said"hold the trade no matter what", I felt uneasy and closed the trade at 1. 3210.from 1.3270.

so much confidence, so much conviction! I know he trades a big account but he is not a market maker. with all the cry of sell the EUR , from forum members it was actually the indicator I needed to go long but I did not take the trade. I just could not lightly ignore HDA . his experience, his superp analysis of the market, his blow by blow account of money flows, his sheer confidence! so I stayed out to watch things unfold.

Bottomline, HDA is an excellent trader but he made a direct trade call on the EUR that turned out to be misleading.("hold the trade no matter what'').what ever nuance or shade you choose to give it. his call on EUR/CAD was superb and his attitude is pure Gold.

Mr. Hatch..... well, policemen are generally disliked in the real world but we still need them to maintain a measure of sanity. Now gentlemen can you sheath your swords please?........... By the way, if this robs anyone off the wrong way, my appologies, but then this is a public forum albeit a predominantly male assembly. Taking my seat at the back of the class once more. Trade safe.
