do you trade the news? and how to manage the trade that's running when the major news are comming soon? what kind of news can take big effect on maket?

EJ Sell BE. Trend down, entered before TDI cross (crossed after bar close). Blocked by yesterday low and H4 low.
Actually, I was watching AJ. However, it already reached 100% ADR and I chose EJ instead.

Those are pretty broad questions.......what news?...London session news?....New York session news?....Asian session news?......High impact news?......Medium or Low impact news? Perhaps you should read some of the information in this thread......the answers are there.....including the quote from Big E that Oaktree posted on this page.
General answer.....NO.....I do not trade the news releases. If I am in a trade and there is profit locked in prior to news, I may let it run but never before Major, High Impact news like Non Farm Payroll or FOMC releases or similar news. Most of the time I will close out trades 15 to 30 minutes before major news. I will, on occasion, when I get a signal, enter a trade 10 to 30 minutes AFTER news has been released, if no other releases are pending and if the news release increased market volume. Forex Factory has made it quite easy to predict what news releases will move the market......look at the calendar they provide every day.......
The TMS system in not a news trading system......if you want to learn what is taught here, read the thread or at least posts by Big E and others who have made this system work in their own trading......the information is there...you just need to search it out and apply it to your trading.....if you are interested in trading fundamentals (trading the news), you need to find a thread that teaches that......

Been stalking the thread for some time now, have some free time today and am closely watching the charts. First post on here and I'm wondering if I'm seeing the TDI cross/PA correctly on GBP/USD. I attempted to attach the chart, not sure if it'll work. Thanks

Yes...that is a valid set up....aggressive entry would be at the open of the 2nd green candle, where you have you arrow....conservative entry would be on a break above the 1st green candle......the only concern would be that the TDI is entering the overbought area so I would not expect the trade to make a long move up without a retracement......

seems like a good chance to short jpy now, as most of the xxxjpy pairs cannot break the support line and showing engulphing bar at the previos hour and TDI crossing (not confirmed yet) now...

A second EJ H1 trade completed today.....a countertrend trade entered based on a triple bottom at the London session low (solid white line) and a break above yesterday's low.....entered before TDI confirmation on the H1 but the TDI had crossed on the M15.....monitored trade closely to see if price would break the middle trend line....once price got past that trend line, SL moved to BE and it was a no risk trade from there......reached TP and price appears to be reversing at the aqua trend line......

Today I took the short trade on USD/CAD 4h chart +85 pips.
I already closed the trade. To early according the rules.
PA looks to go up again, so I decide to close the trade.

Very nice! I wasnt at my computer for that one but did manage to grab the GU trade for +50 - (by the way I love your 50 pip take profit it works really well on currencies with a reasonable ATR) taken because price had hardly moved all day, it was hugging the 10 ema on the H1 (which I have on all my charts) without being able to close underneath it, and M15 had what looked like a double bottom.

Very nice lastingwell, glad to see someone else took the same trade. I am on a relative's computer and wasn't able to get the chart set up with my usual indicators on my earlier post. I believe this system has great potential, and my greatest obstacle is clearing my mind of what I believe (hope) should happen. I need to trust the system and follow the price action and indicators with an appropriate sl/tp levels and allow it to unfold. I also like the 50 pip sl/tp levels, other systems I have seen that use the TDI have much tighter sl/tp levels on the lower time frames which did not fit my style and the higher time frame is much less stressful.

122 pips up in profits. 80 pips locked in already. this was classic setup on the daily TF. notice the TDI cross + scholastic.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post in this thread. The thread header caught my eye and I was attracted to look deeper and see if this really is a 'simple' way to trade. So far I have not been disappointed.

The system laid out by big E seems pretty simple, I just hope it is still followed the same way. I am a big fan of simple strategies.

I have downloaded a couple of pdf's from this thread and am presently reading them to understand and absorb this system. If someone has other valuable advise for me, please feel free to post it. Any and all suggestions, tips are more than welcome.

I have a question on your trade no. 2
at the point of your entry, your entry H1 APB was red color. that only changed to blue confirmed when closed.
and seeing the previous 3 red APB candles, this would be a risky to buy against previous red APB candles.
