As I mentioned some time ago, I am working to add a longer term trading system to my existing Three Dragons ID trading and this chart shows something that I'm am finding worthy of further research.

The Market Statistics indicator has already been discussed in Sonic's thread - it displays the cumulative volumes at price levels as a horizontal histogram and I am thinking that this could be used as a filter for position building

At #1 Buyers came in ~the 1.2800 level and price turned up.

At #2 there was a large FOMC induced spike up to the 1.3200 level where sellers / profit takers stepped in.

At #3 - almost a 50% retracement buyers again came in, as they did at #4 & #5 - all**00 levels.

At #6 there was clear profit taking / distribution and so this was the area in which to start building shorts.

At #7 price could NOT break under the **00 level despite several attempts - so BANK some profits or put in a SL as it was NFP time again

At #8 a **50 level & a PVP level buy some after the level held....and now look for the 3400 area as the US dollar is weak and € is still going UP.....just look at the 15m or 60m Dragons....

AU long trade, closed all parts. 5 x 100 = +500 pips

This is my similar view on GbpUsd....Buying in the areas at #1, #2 & #3 then the profit taking / disribution in 5300 - 5400 area at #4, so sell and BANK around the 50% retrace / PVP level after the 5100 level held......and buy some there too and again bank at #6 as the 5400 level held.

AT # 6 sell after the 5400 level held as a LH.....BUT be careful into the BOE Press Conference that gave the spike low....

Now there is a new PVP building ~the 5500 level, but the momentum is still up and the US dollar making new lows.....

So this is my Research Project and I think it also contains some ideas that may help others make better trading decisions....

Keep in mind that the display of price volume at any level is derived by going back in time and gathering up the quantities of "strikes" at given prices. This is self-defeating as a real-time indicator. What the market sentiment was and what it did yesterday, or the day before at any given level, might not be the same now, yet the Market Statistics indicator will not show "now", it will only show "totals". I gave this up for a number of reasons, this just being one of them. Bar volume is all real-time. No dilution.

I used this indicator to highlight the build up of activity in the areas that I mentioned. It can be removed without - IMO - effecting the validity of the comments that I made.....

Just made a classic entry on EURAUD m15 sell, looks good for classic entry on H1 chart as well. I have 5 scouts between 1.4775 and 1.4785 as well (different account), I let them run for profit for now.

AU: Added ep01 short scout. I will not have many scouts for this one as I'm filled with EU at the moment. But I need to have at least one scout ont his one considering how good this setup is. See my charts for my analysis.

Very nice classic short Tymedu. Do you use different lot size trading for single classic or same size as your scouts?

I've picked up where you left off :-). Your trades looks identical to my chart previously for a Bulls Build/Run cycle. MMs profit, you profit, PVSRA profit. I've started by short building on this pair with a SINGLE scout.

If my EU trade goes well (whenever that happens), I'll add more firepower to AU.

My scouts are 0,2 lots and my classic entries 1 lot (unless the SL is too far and I could lose more than 0,7%-1%, then I reduce the number of lots)

A response just as expected. The chart I posted was to show buying opportunities, but noted that that previous high would be interesting to watch to see what happens.

Thank you very much , for now I hope the development of EU, GU and UJ UCh. I do not want to stay without scouts.

EU Short Trade: Added short #24

Once again MMs pumped the price up on high volume. Still looking for better shorts.

Seems like MMs are waiting EU or USD high impact releases of the next week, until then pumping the price as high as possible.
