Yeah, I just chalk it up to summer trading. Once we get an established direction late summer I'll be more happy to get back on the swinging bandwagon.

if 3300 was defended so hard, why it was pushed through so easily in the new york session without a hard push down back? now the price just drifts around 3300 like nobody has noticed it.

As attila rightfully says... we need price to feck as many people as possible first. LOL

If you want my random prediction, I'm going to say... we will form a high of sorts (were kinda doing that). So we look like it's ready to go short. Once everyone jumps on the short bus, we are going to slam to a new high. Bears are done for, and doing this makes price look like we have now created a HH. The difference here, is that we are going to slide into an old supply zone from June. This is where the real sellers are at. Now that it looks like we were going short, the new HH now makes it look like we are suppose to go long, fully setting up the market to make a new LL and destroy all bulls along the way.

So... LL to HH to LL. Those plays are great, and its the market at it's most obnoxious, and interestingly enough...most consistent.

nope, there is a difference between S/R and battle zones and players levels, it is more about "order flow"

players or big boy or whatever you want to call them, find their level, and place their order,s that can be now, last week, last month or last year etc eg sellers decide xx00 is their level of interest, as buyers push up price, when they tap this level, their orders are absorbed until sell order are gone, and price drops, this will repeat over and over at the same level, until the buy orders exceed the sell orders, this is now a battle zone, equilibrium, market needs fresh sellers to maintain the original level, ping pong ensues until winner, whoever win generally is shown by powerful drive, often taking out stops, this can accelerate and continue, or buyers can start profit taking, and pa will retrace and retest the original level, this is also normal pa, normal battling, if buyers exceed sellers this is either trend reversal or continuation, and depending what tf watching can be a considerable direction move

so, your idea for battle zone is not correct, if you cant define the difference, by the time you do, battle is actually over and pa has moved on. so if pa is sideways your best option is to sit on sidelines and wait for direction

on larger charts it is. some dummie metioned this before we got here.

Still positioned short but do not like it consolidating. I'm guessing the central banks are going to be pushing the price down--at least that's my hope. I'd like to see a 100+ pip run on this.

periods like this always have that effect. Gives you more and more time to question yourself and worry.

maybe that's true, maybe its not... all i know is, the bears have done all they needed to do for a large drop except -2743. and 2743 is more a medium term level

shit happens. we got people here going short at 3262 and saying they were long all day.. mofus are fake.. we have others here like 3300.3, and also 328x.... and a few others

usd/cad is a better set up for a buy . the buy is at 1.03557 add spread sloss 15 pips as the traingle will be invalid
