Absolutely. I appreciate the various styles. Tried them all. I've come to be partial to Swing to Mid Term myself as it lends itself to my time available and what I do for a living. One day, when I "retire" from my career, I'll be doing this more frequently. hey, what can I say? It's enjoyable....especially when you lay out a plan, stick to it and it pays off. Pretty good stuff.

Solid post HDA and over this past week your contributions have been not only very refreshing but of very high quality. Not just in terms of trade analysis but in respect for others. You seem to have been able to somewhat bring the people together which is rare in a person on an internet forum.

I have just short todays open 3258 sl 3265eu only going to risk 7 pip and looking for signal aussie or kiwi, possibly the small pop on kiwi was just to close weekend "gap" time will tell

Short term count for usdljpy and areas where it will turn . the correction is part of wave4 devoloping and it could be a traingle from 103 area . the support 96.6 will be of intrest to see a good bounce

I am going to show you a HINDSIGHT and LIVE PRESENT DAY example.

Hind Sight Example:

Go to the GBP/USD, 1H chart and look at JULY 9, 2013.

There at the DEMAND ZONE 1.4850 - there was a spike to go lower on the 10am Eastern candle (providing our candles have the same time stamps) It made a new low and honest traders would think, I imagine, at the time, that it is going lower - but we are at the DEMAND ZONE - so you BUY regardless. The NEUTRAL ZONE is 1.5300, so follow the chart to 1.5300 which is where you would exit the trade on July 22, 2013, a little after, 5am Eastern, that's TWO FULL WEEKS. - 450 pips profit doing nothing but holding.

Now follow the chart after July 22, 2013 when you exited the trade to now August 5, 2013 present day and observe what happened in and along the NEUTRAL ZONE.

If you had continued to trade in that zone. You would honestly lose money and be under a lot of stress, jumping in, jumping out etc etc. Don't get me wrong, it's tradeable - but to each, his or her own style of trading. My style is STRESS FREE and nothing is wrong with either styles of trading.

When you look on that DEMAND ZONE trade - how easy was it to just BUY and hold the trade - STRESS FREE to the NEUTRAL ZONE for two weeks, you tell me?

Present Day Example, Moving Forward, Which Has Not Happened As Yet:

Go to the EUR/USD, 1H chart and look at July 26, 2013 (Friday)

There at the SUPPLY ZONE 1.3290 - there was a spike to go higher July 31, 2013 on the 2pm Eastern candle FOMC ANNOUNCEMENT (providing our candles have the same time stamps). It made a new high and honest traders would think, I imagine, at the time, that it is going higher - but we are at the SUPPLY ZONE - so you SELL regardless. The NEUTRAL ZONE is 1.3070 and this trade is still LIVE AND IN PROGRESS

One week has passed so far from July 26, 2013 when the short trade was made and the SUPPLY ZONE has held - let us now wait to see what happens at the end of this week, AUGUST 9, 2013, if not before, which would make it TWO FULL WEEKS.

So for one week if you SOLD at the SUPPLY ZONE and left it and never payed it any attention - you would still be in the trade secure, worry free and stress free.

THE TRADE IS STILL LIVE so lets see what happens.

I just gave you a HIND SIGHT TRADING example and a LIVE TRADE IN PROGRESS example.

Let us observe how PATIENCE is worth its WEIGHT IN GOLD.

Parity, that would be quite a thing. I actually scalped a few trades from 1.38 for a few pips but let this one run. It is the lone ranger.

Still screwed up on EA shorts but I have entered quite a few short on oil which has served me well these past few weeks.

two steps forward and one step back as always.

Is there a remote possibility July 31, 2013 supply might get absorbed and shoot for higher supply before neutral zone?

Excellent stuff. I see it. Clearly. Now I am devising a way to be able to see those levels based off of the options exp values and use in conjunction with charting. I have a chart set up where I can pretty much see what you are telling us in conjunction. Just have to "perfect" it. So, the "Hind Sight" example just given and the other examples I have been looking at as well as this "live" EUR/USD trade now. Really good stuff and again, thanks for taking the time to make this understandable. I clearly see the benefits of patience in these swing trades. I pulled off a nice pip group at the first part of the swing up on the USD/CAD. Excellent. You aren't giving us a fish. You're giving us another avenue in HOW TO FISH to consider and it looks pretty darn promising. Example... me... I can be up early morning hours from 3am MST to about 8am when I am heading out the door. I can check in from time to time while out and about, but I already see a plan laid out to where I can take some off the table along the way and ensure I am taking advantage of the profits in pieces. Base hits, as it were. Not looking for a home run. But those do come from time to time. It's all fitting into what my circumstances allow. Stress free is right. Outstanding! Bravo to you! Braaaavo! ... for your giving spirit. As many have expressed... we are benefiting from it.

posted these 2 charts eu daily & weekly while back, nothing has really changed and normally I ont pay much attention to her during Asian session,
weekly & daily trending phases
daily is smaller range inside bigger range not unusual but signifies decision mode by sideways ranging

updated weekly is zoomed in to see nice doji last weeks candle, need confirmation, "but" I have interest because she at upper limits of daily range
Daily zoomed in, she building a diamond, with 3300 and falling trendline hold bulls for now, snaking 200 & 50 ma,s is further sign of bulls and bear battling, and generally time to stay on sidelines until dust settles

If zoom into hourly she is bobbling along ontop of 200&50 sma,s and right now tapping todays open, so I am expecting the move south to be quick and strong when they break, a ride north should be more orderly and boring, with the above tl and 330000 capping bulls, if the go accordingly the move up from there should be very strong.

so for not I am playing 33000 todays open in the smaller daily triangle if can start printing lh ll,s I will micromanage, I think is strong battle going on, and a decent move for her in Asia session is very unusual, so if this happen a lot of trader going to be caught out, rr is with me for now
