Well said. Yea it could go either way on rate decision reaction. It looks like it probably won't affect me cause I'm out of this pair right now and most probably won't be back in before the rate announcement tomorrow. I'm just sitting here waiting for an opportunity to short.

It would probably work out in the long haul in conjunction with something else. I don't read too much into the open position ratio (OPR) by itself. But if you built a strategy that used that information along with trend direction, that might be enough to make some profit long term. I honestly don't look at OPR and trend alone either though. I use these technical items along with other technical items and news (fundamentals analysis). Painting a whole picture gives you the best chance to succeed, from my experience.

I would not do that unless the spike is down. shorting AUD is pretty much over right after RBA speaks.

but I never trade before news.

well i am already on long position and 20 pips in loss. was thinking that the price will find resistance at 0.900

will keep the position open

Took 23 pips about an hour ago on the AUDUSD, foresaw the aussy retracing to the pivot point. All trends indicated short, the news early on about retail caused the unnecessary drop in the Aussy a few hours ago though it still must respect the trend, plus as the news was negative the chances of trend continuing short was high. Kept in respect the USD news an hour from now so I traded for a quick 20 pips using the RSI as a guideline from when to sell plus close. I have done similar trades with the daily pivot on the aussy on my last account, the rate of success seemed quite high on this currency with this strategy thus far.

I am just in (going long) at 0.98022 but surprised to the the slippage from my broker! My market execution was at 0.98000!

Despite good US data, no movement at all, i guess everyone is so focused on tmr rate

If you're white or not poor, you have no standing to make these claims. Discrimination is alive and doing quite well. When you grow up in such poverty and are discriminated against your whole life just for being black, there is very little chance of becoming anything in life or even ridding yourself of ignorance.

Why can't you be something if you're poor? There are plenty of poor folk that try to better themselves. There are those that do what they can. It just shows your ignorance in trying to excuse this behavior as if this is expected. If you expect this out of poor African-Americans, maybe you're the one discriminating.

I will comment on how by no means what that an example of how to act in front of your child. And I don't give a shite whether you are black, latino, white, or whatever, that it is highly unacceptable for a 5 year old to repeatedly call someone gay. Not to mention, they mall cop was also black and wasn't having any of it.

Do not, ever, try to preach to me. African-American have opportunities if they would take them. It is taking a while for me to complete my degree because I have to work full-time, pay out of pocket. With a 3.6 GPA I get nothing. If I was an African-American with a 3.0 I would get scholarships. There are plenty of assistance for minorities, but it is the cultural street influence that keeps them where they are.

You can say "poor black" this or that. However, there is a manor in which one acts in public. No matter how mad I have gotten at someone, never did the words "bitch nigga" come out.

Perhaps, if they want to not be discriminated maybe they shouldn't act like this. I am a judge of character, of individual qualities. And that group had neither.

I use a 5M chart. The spike will exhaust itself, and I will fade it back to it's mean. If all else fails, SL
