I mentioned 1.3.. taking another look at the chart, HDA's 3080 looks better, maybe a little bit higher for me 3120 or so.. that's IF this is the top.

how to know price action without a chart? you can put all volumes and prices in your head with a good memory? or you write them down on paper faster than a chart on screen?

3080 is just about the POC (point of control) of the TPO (time price opportunity) profile of recent years that euro has been traded. if you hold positions long enough you will be there.

31165 is also the middle of a main cluster I have here.. I have to re run something when I get the time.. things change slightly as more ticks come online.

needs to drop below 3250 to enter that cluster.. otherwise we're looking at 3400.. that's where we're pointing this very moment... tomorrow is the ecb stuff rumored to be dovish as well..

today daily range is 135 pips and we hit resistance at 3345. of course there would be tons sell orders at 3345.
we have support at 3300 and 3235

Why don't you look your chart again and NOTICE THE DOUBLE BOTTOM at 1.2758.... Which invalidates your trend line bud....

The DB will NOT be complete until 1.34 is breached. Good luck with your trend line and shorting it - you may grab 100 pips or so.... But anyone who has been around long enough in this game knows that a double bottom (especially on a daily chart) is more powerful than a trend line.

Your trend line is in fact now INVALID because it failed to make a LOWER LOW not only once, BUT TWICE!

GL bears.

What you are actually looking at is a pennant with bullish bias confirmed by the double bottom.

This is what I'm talking about. Until you have had the exposure, you will then realize that most of what you are doing is not governed by your indicators.

Lets take for example Volume - The volume you get from your broker is just your brokers volume - with an institutional account you are seeing the true volume in the inter banking system.

At the retail level, because the account sizes are small relative to institutional accounts your orders will always be filled.

At the institutional level - different volumes are available at different prices. So lets say I want to sell the EUR 300 YARDS at 1.3300 - but at the time only 100yards are available at the price I will only get 100 yards filled at 1.3300 and the rest will be split up at different yards at different prices. but you have a set target in mind to get out at and you exit when it reaches your target.

But because you see the volumes of YARDS available at different prices you get a good indication of where the money flow is and the option contracts helps you as well in knowing the price levels to watch if you trade the forex.

So there is a lot going on and if your charts and indicators help you to trade and make money, nothing is wrong with that - I'm just sharing with you that Volume and Price action controls the market.

I use to devote a lot of time on here and share everything I know to try and pass on the knowledge, but it is time consuming and it wears me out.

I came back to see the changes to FF and I have two trades running that I shared with some FF traders and some how I just want to see it through with them before I go - They know themselves.

Its over a year since I last posted in here so I did leave and will again. Just sharing and going. I was to stop on Friday past, but I seeing these two trades I shared with some FF traders to the end and then I'm gone.

But - A formal education into the forex is the best advice I can give anyone.

i do not use indicators. 100% agree with you about price and volume. I have long been interested to know how to get the options data for FX.
