He took a trade, now he's beating himself against a hard wall because he broke a rule. I hope he doesn't win with this trade because it may encourage him to break more rules.

he's not loosing much (0.7% today) and it is obvious there will be days when you loose

I am and clearly still not 100% fit to do this full time , that's for sure.I have managed to maintain the risk to below 5% though, so our bet still stands.
On a lighter note , If you look at those Yen trades , the last 3 , you will understand why I am .They all hit my stop by less than 10 pips and have moved massively in my direction.Typical

Don't worry about that... its part of the law of averages. You win some and lose some, but as long as your winners outweigh your losers %wise, you should be happy and in control.

For instance I took a hit on 4 trades overnite and lost 7%, however I am still in front about 16% for the month, so I'm not at all stressed.

I bet you'll say I talk shite, cause you've been "trader" longer than I
but will give you advice anyway: it is possible that you will never trade full time - face it. you will get to point where it will bring you nice profits or money to invest in something else, but maybe you will never be full time trader - get over it

and another thing - hide your explorer - tell me that it wasn't will to show off that wiped this week's profits - you won't because you wanted to show off - to show us that you're doing nice profits all the time - you should get away from trading yesterday when you had 2% loss, but you went into revenge mode - possibly you wouldn't if it wasn't the fact you wanted us to see you got another profitable day - loosing days will happen - get over it

and you get too confident - it may loose you - you start forcing trades in stead of waiting for better signal.

I bet you know I am right that's why you're so quiet. Now think to yourself - why do you trade - do you trade to impress people you don't even know? or do you trade for yourself? do you need to show the explorer for others? or will just a normal weekly update do? hidden explorer means you don't have to explain yourself for anybody - you don't need to revenge to prove something for others, once you screwed you just walk away, no questions from anybody.

besides you were really cocky recently - you were too confident (confidance is required in trading but still requires common sense and normal attitude) and that's what started to work against you. Now your profitable period is not long enough to think that your system works - I had periods when I was very profitable but on long term I was loosing and never had 3 profitable months in a row (and only after 3 profitable months you can start talking that system/method works for you)
I had period when in 2 weeks I got 800% on silver, I had period when in 2 months I got 800% on EUR/USD - without even using s/l - no indicators, I was just looking on the chart and knew when the price will reverse, was betting 100% account every trade with no s/l (at 50:1 leverage movement of about 100-150 pips against you wipes 50% of account) - and it did work well, I got 400% profit only in second month - but such bIg profits make you cocky, overconfident, and sooner or later you just fail - be careful, don't get too confident

Publishing my explorer is part of my system .I was on 20% profit for the week on Wednesday .I lost 25% of my winnings on Thursday because I kept trading after listening to you and others on here who kept saying there was no need to put a weekly target.In the end , I was proved right , that why I put a target in the first place, to avoid a scenario that happened this week.Lesson learnt.The target is back in place.One I reach it , be it on a Monday , I either STOP trading for that week , OR , I give myself 2 more trades where my risk for those trades is less than 20 pips per trade , OR one more normal trade .
Remember , that the comments you guys put on here sometimes make sense so I try to follow them , and if they don't work , I ditch them .My emotions get hold of me especially when I start to lose when I should not even be trading, that's one of the first reason I put that target in the first place.I have learnt it the hard way , if it wasn't for the bet I have with XTRADER101 and my improved discipline , who knows , I probably would have blown my account, but I am limiting my losses to 5% or less
On a positive note , I can easily say that my weekly 10% profit is not that difficult for me to achieve so I am not really bothered .

I am not blaming you or anyone , I am just stating the FACTS , anyway , some inputs on this thread have helped me , some haven't so this particular input did not work , it's not the end of the world , there is always next time , lessons learnt , no big deal.

My first losing week in a while .I have to accept the fact that it was of my own making.I had 25% profit on Wednesday , but I finished the week on 5% loss.Looking back is only good if it is going to help you , otherwise what's the point.I will put back my targets as I have been doing for the last 8 weeks , after all , as the saying goes , "If it ain't broken , don't fix it."

I am on £4.31 per pip , or roughly +/-3.5% risk per trade this week.Please see attached .

Maybe after you reach your weekly goal, continue to trade with very small amounts but set a limit to the amount of profit you're willing to give back. It might help you practice your trading method rather than sit around a few days waiting for a new week to start. Continuing to trade with small amounts of cash will keep you disciplined and help with the emotions. The more you trade, the more relaxing trading will become.

Please keep in my that my bet is for you to get your act together, so you can be a full time trader. I am not betting to win just for $100 dollars. I spent that amount in 1.5 hours last Friday having beer and hot chicken wings with friends.
