Now that was interesting to see everything have an almost equal/opposite reaction....
Gold really tied itself to this overall move more than I have seen recently; almost 2:1 ratio vs E/U (watching M1 T/F)
No skin in the game on this move, just watching for now.

market almost always push to the extremes you think it will not..

i am learning to stop entering early with a wider stop loss so id ont miss the move

and i only go for the extremes. if it doesnt make it there, no big deal.. theres always another trade literally just around the corner

I think that statement is probably one the most important things I have learned as a newbie. Not to get too caught up in the fray of the moment.
And as many wise traders here have expressed, PATIENCE pays. Wider stops losses (and managing the correct margin levels) you are so right there...
