Yes. So we'll see the next Asian session (H4) how MMs keep price between a range. Then that range will break out at the end of the Asian session. In the London session the MMs will stop hunt and the REAL movement of the day will appear suddenly in front of our eyes. Then, the reverse movement will occur in the NY session.
So till the London session we won't know the TRUE direction of price. Do you agree?

And now the one million dollar question: Are MMs BULLS or BEARS?. Is it time for SHORTS or LONGS?. That's the mission of PVSRA...
My opinion is that MMs are BULLS. Their target is 1.34 (see D1) and they may be reaching that value in about 15 days.

The draw downs awaiting harvest time are slightly uncomfortable it's true and I have been thinking how best to utilise our knowledge of MM intentions to be most profitable throughout their buying or selling cycles each month.

The MM's wish to wrong foot us and so will move price action in the opposite direction for multiple weeks, prior to their ultimate harvest time, when the sudden brutal reversal happens and retail traders without PVRSA insights are left scratching their heads.

So thinking about PVRSA (which is nothing short of revelatory) ,and MM position building, it almost seems like when we get the first green shoot signals of which way the MM's are building (way before harvest time) we should use Classic Sonic entries, in the direction of the 'trend' they want us to believe in , as they sneakily build in the opposite direction.

At the same time we would also be entering our scout seeds (at much smaller lot size) to build alongside MM's for harvest time, which always seems to be opposite the current short term trend.
It seems that the time between their position building and harvest can be between two to four weeks so those first few weeks could be great time to confidently ride the dragon with Classic Sonic trades, whilst in tandem building positions in the opposite direction as per PVRSA.
Obviously if this is not possible in the same pair due to anti hedging laws, then maybe look for inversely correlated pairs such EUR USD and USD CHF.

As the PVRSA project develops it would be great to gain insight using PVRSA as to clues when the runs are most likely to happen.
It seems that the days before a run there is a 'frenzy' of MM action , where they dont hide their tracks nearly as well, which could give the heads up that the reversal is on the horizon and the current prevailing 'trend' is nearly over .

Things I have been thinking about recently include asking if there is a change in their building tactics as harvest approaches; is price hiked up and then dropped more violently and obviously , do we see more out of hours activity or maybe more obvious connections between regions eg Asia building , followed by London and US all on the same day ?
And do the dumps tend to happen around major forex calendar events or global economic gatherings so factoring those in.
If there were consistent warning signals then they would be very useful in warning us to tread more lightly with Classics and to position ourselves most profitably with the Scouts , maybe with slightly higher lot size as the building reaches its climax.
Maybe its not possible to read their tracks so well but wanted to share thoughts and will continue to analyse as each cycle plays out. I believe that the greed of the MM's could potentially be used in our favour if they do indeed drop their guard more as the move approaches.

Very appreciative as always of the work being done here and I just wish my demo account using PVRSA over the last two months had been my real account as the results are truly out of this world!

One thing we all have neglected to mention, maybe because we are all too busy
studying and applying what TAH has presented to us with PVSRA analization, is
that the "feel" of the sonicR thread has evolved.

Generally speaking, TAH has been the primary contributor to the thread with his
coding work and teachings. I have never, not in any other forum thread, seen
anyone that gives of himself the way TAH has done here. It is beyond my scope
to understand how he finds the time to do it all, but I certainly do appreciate that
he chooses to share with us all. He does so without asking anything of us other
than for us to read, study, and share what we have learned in the process. The
fact that he often comes under fire, and still chooses to stay with us tells a LOT
about the kind of person he is. He could just as easily say "f... it all" and walk away.
Most of us would have taken that route a long time ago.

I've seen an outpouring of contributions to the thread that didn't exist before
PVSRA came into being. TAH has opened our minds to an alternative way of thinking,
and the efforts of those who who have chosen to accept the possibilities that
PVSRA offers will accelerate the learning process. All of those contributions will
eventually lead to the best way to apply PVSRA analization to sonicR trading.

I say, "Well done, TAH."

I think you may be on to something with these thought processes. It would certainly be
worth applying some time and effort into this. Maybe the increased activity is noticeable
on a higher time frame? Something unique about a specific candle or candles that would
indicate something is in the wind with the trend direction.

I feel the position building with multiple small entries is one of the keys to the success
of applying PVSRA to the trades. But if there IS something that would indicate a change is
on the horizon, we could reduce the number of entries and use a little larger trade size
and still accomplish the same results, without having to suffer through the draw down.

THIS IS IT!

I used to think about IT (such a concept) some time ago and added hedging to my strategy. But your thoughts about the variuos lots sizes are more interesting to avoid much drawdown. The only thing should be controlled is the quantity of positions and their directions.

YES, fella, there are connections between them. Agents of MMs are working all round the world. So the day price ranges are limited by them, I suppose.

Personally I am finding the answers using VWAP technique and the sesions' high and lows barriers added to the Sonic R System.

Hedging requires too much screen time.

There must be a better solution.

Exactly. And the likes of TAH's recent posts about the high volume bars now appearing at lower highs on the higher TF's signalling potential exhaustion in getting their orders filled prior to the reversal.
The more we can read from their tracks, the less chance we have of walking into their crap : )

You are right totally. So I am finding the better sollution and have not found yet. The above proposed one could be possible. It needs being thought over.

The problem that arises is that we should control the positions of different directions with various money management rules, what is hard enough.

Ok Guys, here is my first attempt at a Word Document setting out the basics of my work in progress together with a folder with the charts mentioned. I wrote this up on my new laptop and hope it gets into the thread OK - I'm not as up to date with 'puter stuff as you younger guys!
