Price has fallen off yesterday highs, which represent significant resistance. That was a retest of the resistance, which failed. That means the MMs had short orders sitting up there which are now filled. This in turn implies the price will be falling, we just do not know the timing of that fall nor the extent of it. However, due to the high volume at the highs yesterday, when the MMs do start the price downwards, it could continue to go below the previous lows.

Hi Guys - I'm a bit tied up right now as I have a hot Cat and a noisy Kohler to sort out - actually a C18 & 20 EFOZD

Just reading quickly, I noticed a comment about the strange market action.......well the S&P500 etc are making new all time highs above their May highs. So IF the Big Dogs decide that they have got all they can out of the Stock Markets and start a sell off - hang onto your hats - for certain the action will spill over into the Forex Markets

HiTraders,

hope this template is last updated. I noticed that SR levels are not on the same level as on oldest SONIC template.

However I see strong resistance so will wait for a while and go short on top of the channel if price will react.

Sorry, but you still do not have the latest release. I told you to go to post #1, link to TAH indicators and templates. It is the first link in the damn post! Can't you read?

His template is still Sonic R, if it were not, it would not be there.

The indys and template he is using do not come from Post#1. They are outdated and superceded by the TAH Indicators and Templates that are in Post#1. And I am trying to help this person get the right stuff. Please mind your own business.

This is a public venue, and I have not been abrasive. If he downloaded the templates from this site, that means they are valid. You are not the founder of the thread, so whether they are any good or not is your opinion, and you should state that.

With the next CAD release being tomorrow and a high impact one at that, the MMs might, as you are thinking, plan on no true break upwards right now. Meanwhile, possibly some up/downs and maybe lower even after that release. Any USD strength move across the boards could yet be to come. That also possibly happening tomorrow, and maybe then a break up on this one.

All I see right now are steps down with hints at some bottoms of heavier activity, indicating (or hinting at) bulls. As we know though, we can never know when bulls might start moving prices back up.

You are a bullshitter and an obnoxious one at that. And I have had enough of you. I coded. I know what is improved and what is old and faulty. The whole purpose of the link in Post #1 to TAH indicators & Templates is to be sure that I, or any coder, can put forth the improved models to help assure that folks don't use outdated ones.

I am putting you on "IGNORE", asshole! And it would do my heart good if everyone else here did the same.

The power and variety of the SonicR Thread

As you can see, last days we are seeing few people complaining about the different trading ways we have in this thread. Personally, I don't understand those complains because there is something always to learn. However, some people prefer to flame and flame, not posting a single chart and being useless for the thread.

Actually, we are seeing people posting their trades using 3 different system, all related to the original SonicR System:


The Classic entry:

​We all know (or we should all know) the classic entries. If you don't know them, I recommend you to go to the first page and start to read. The classic entry is "easy" by definition. We use a dragon and we wait until we have the dragon with a certain angle (up or down) and we enter once we see a H-L-LH for shorts or L-H-HL for longs.

Pros:

  1. We don't need a big knowledge about volume
  2. We have a fixed and clear SL
  3. Easy to understand

The Building position method (PVSRA)

This is an alternative created by TAH, using the original SonicR scouts. Here, we use the Price, Volume, Support and Resistance Areas to determine if the market is in overall bull or bear, if the big fishes are bulls or bears. Once we determine if they are bulls or bears, we start to build a position and from there, every time we see the MM (Market Makers) are going short or long, we add another position.

Some people name this average down, but they are wrong. Average down is when you use 1 lot as a classic entry and then you add another 1 lot entry and repeat this process . But if you divide your entries, let's say by 20, and you enter the market with 0,05 lots, you are risking the same amount than a classic entry. It's the difference between average down and to build a position.

Pros:

  1. Very relaxed system
  2. Constant profits
  3. It gives you a huge knowledge (once you gain practice and experience) about price action an volume

Cons:

  1. Not fixed SL
  2. Hard to understand at the beginning
  3. With a bad money management, it can blow up your account

The dra-dra-dragon (I just invented it, but it's cool right Islander?)

Lately we are seeing a new variety (it's not really new but now it's winning more fans) which is working perfectly. It was created by Islander and it uses 3 dragons (15m dragon, 5 min dragon an 1 min dragon) in the same chart (1m) looking for the perfect timing to add a single entry. The system is a little bit more complex than this explanation, but I can't provide more information because I'm not as familiarized as I am with the others. If you wanna learn more about this system, please take a look to Islander's posts and you will find all you need.

Pros:

  1. You will win skill in price action and volume
  2. You don't need to be all day long in front of the computer
  3. Fast operations (normally) and the perfect tool for scalping
  4. Fixed SL

Cons:

  1. This system requires to have precision
  2. It is not as "standardized" as the other ones


What system is better?

The million dollar question and at the same time the most stupid question. All of them are good system, and all of them are based on the original Sonic R System. However, they are completely different. What is better? All of them. You just have to choose which variant suits more with you and your trading stlyle. The war about what system is better is just absurd. They all have good and bad points, pros and cons. Choose one and practice, get experience with them and you will realize they are all good.

Please, stop this war about "your system is bad, mine is better" or "That is not a classic entry". We are a lot of people here and we are here to learn and share. With time, we do research and we find our own way to use SonicR system. All of them have been proven profitable at the moment. Stop this stupid war.

Hi!
I ve checked 1 page and there are many tpl and indys so it's quite confusing. if someone can attach into his post revised tpl with some entry/exit rules ( manual guide ) will be much appreciated!

Tymedu, that was a great post, well thought out. I will leave the old man to his VSA. There are enough true Sonicers to cancel him out anyways. I apologize for the conflict.

Thank you very much TAH. For now I leave the TP, as I see more obvious signs to me of the bulls (may be too late by then), I will close this trade and begin to build a buy trade.

Hey i think a better name for the 1 Min Dragon setup( Should be *RideTheDragon*)
But i 100% Agree with you Tymedu. I've been testing the 1Min dragon pips it works better for me, get in and get out. I'm in the process of making it better...
I know Islander has been testing other EMAs, I'm also testing EMA and LMA with volume.
