Paul,

The TDI being an indicator derives from the real price therefore when there is a price reversal, the TDI will confirm that.

The APB is also derived from the real price. Read up on Heiken Ashi or HA to understand the characteristics of the APB/HA. It is useful when trading TMS. The APB change in colour is a easy to use feature.

Like many TMS traders, I use the real price bar/candlesticks for my trade setups and entries. But I have the APB in my charts background.

Got PM asking me what is R?

This has been shared several times and many of my trade charts posted show the R multple levels.
But I guess some new traders still did not grasp the concept and do not know how to use that and therefore will not know its effectivenss in exit managament and the impact it will have in your 4H swing trading results.

Here is another example to explain what is R and the R-Multiple method in trade exit management.

TMS is a simple technical trading method. There is in fact nothing more to share here which has not been explained before. Nothing has changed so far as the Entry and Exit rules are concerned.
It is all about Entry and Exits, therefore there is a lot more in the other aspects of trading than Entry and Exits Rules. Work on your Money Management strategy which will help your achieved your financial goals using TMs as the core trading method. Work on your Mind ... develop your mental fitness that will go along with trading TMS.... Discipline is still the hardest thing many traders fail to achieve when trading TMS.
Patience is an integral part of the Discipline required.
You have Fear, so do I.
You have Greed, so do I.
How do you manage these two - Fear and Greed?
You can never get rid of these two. It is in our human dna. This is the monster inside us as traders.
We must tame the monster.

my day trading process is as follows:

1) I decide whether I want to be buyer or seller when new day open... i.e. after NY close, and 2 hours before Tokyo opens.
- buyer is when I follow the higher TF H4 and D1 TDI, and follow the D1 candle follow through.
- seller is when I see a setup with potential to BE with R:R 1:1 , I take some risk to trade correction of the previous D1.

2) when I decide on CT, that is my Plan A.
- then I make a quick exit usually RR 1:1 nett.
- then I look to execute Plan B which follows my HTF trend trading.

*** watching the TOK first 5H traded range and the Asian trade range is important when trading intraday using H1. Ths H1 TDi has little to do with my intraday trading. It is about PA and range trading.

Brilliant Emmanuel , lets say that, is it better for us to look for swing high and lows with support and resistance to time our entries, I mean sometime a candlestick forms and a cross of TDI already formed or is forming and boom I take the trade, the question is are there enough sellers or buyers to push the market in the intended direction, ie swing high or low

here is last night example of that Marubozu Pin Bar ... bears in full control and defended the close price, bulls tried and tried till more bears joined in the market seeing that defense line when Tokyo open this morning.

Fact is we as traders we do not know and will never know if there will be enough buyers or sellers in our favour. That is why someone invented that thingy called Stop Loss.

Entered long on E/J 1 Hr chart 4 hours ago with 20 pip trailing SL, TDI was pulling away from the red line. Let it ran while at work, closed at +21 pip just before FO. Doesn't sound much but it's one of the rare plus I've had lately!
