Basically US economic indicators are improving according to the Fed's forecasts and if they keep up the pace, QE will be reduced (tapered) slowly between now and mid 2014. If economic indicators do not manage to meet the forecasts, then the tapering process will take longer. Obviously if things take a turn for the worse, then the Fed will increase monetary accommodation for a short period to help boost the economy until targets are reached.
In a nutshell, it's all up to the data. Therefore, theoretically we are back to normal where the USD will rise and fall based on actual economic data versus expectations.
My feeling it that a gradual recovery is already priced in at this point in time, so I will not be looking for any appreciation or depreciation of the USD going forward save and except when economic data releases exceed or miss expectations respectively.

The US Beige Book has been released. All US economic indicators are solid and looking good going forward especially in housing.
Employment is good but there is hesitation in some sectors to produce full time employment. It seems business don't want long term commitments. This could be a sticking point for the unemployment rate. Regardless, it's a great report card for the US economy, but not necessarily for Benny.

Added another short position on SPX500 at the 113% fibo retrace of the 2008 meltdown.
113% and 123.6% tend to be excellent reversal levels to pull back to the breakout point (100%) before continuation.
and since we are now venturing into uncharted waters with new all time highs, I am going with the odds that there cannot be much further upside before a "real" correction (a healthy one) takes place.

Hey guys, What are some opinions of the FX ramifications of this G20 labor meeting?
It's not really something you can predict, but based on the relative calm in the socio-political landscape lately, it may be that nothing comes out of it.
Of course as usual, the market sits on its hands until after the meetings, and then proceed in the direction which they had originally planned before the meetings unless they hear something that compels them to change their minds. Therefore, as long as nothing changes, I expect the USD to rally
