Balhana,

In these cases where you have a bull trap, sometimes you wait for a retrace, other times you don't, could you please clarify why? What determines entry when there is no retrace?

It depends on how price approaches bull trap. If there is a strong RBR demand on the way, then I wait and see how price approaches the RBR demand after touching the bull trap and then how it retraces. If price drops to RBR with strong momentum after touching bull trap and then retraces with weak momentum, then I enter short. If you think it is subjective, I agree.

In this case, the small RBR demand did not look strong to me, so I entered short as soon as price touched the bull trap.

EDIT: I wait for a retrace but no retrace? How could I enter in this case? I just miss it.

Without wishing to request too much more of you, could you please elaborate on the next few charts, say the next 3 or 4 charts?

LJ and I are S/D traders, so somewhat similar. Every trader is different even if you use the same set of rules, so somewhat different. You should try to see the good in each trader and to find what works for you.

My trading plan has been changed since I started, and I know (hope) it will always be evolving and improving.
