There was nothing to explain, thanks to your fabulous indie, all he had to do is look at the lavender number that says Av. It appears if you put on more than one position. On the EJ example, I was going for 10 pips per position, so I set my tp 40 pips away. I did not get anything remotely as specific about TP placement from you.

I am still not sure, because you seem to be a lot worse at explaining things than at asking for explanations. Best I can figure is your goal is to have an average EP that is specifically determined (in advance), and then you attempt to place individual EPs that will result in the AvgEP that is your current (and maybe sometimes changing) goal.
Am I right?
If that is the case, then all you would have had to say was that you wanted your EPs to average out at XXXXXXX. That would not have been hard to do, and would have answered ArtfulDodger's question in a clear manner.
If I am not right, then you can see the difficulty we are having understanding one who prides himself on exactness. Such should not be the case.

I started to read, then started scrolling down, and then started scrolling down faster, and then faster, and faster, and faster! What garbage! And so much of it!
In few words, the banks are moving the price of gold lower, driving holders out, while they collect it in. This includes governments, too. This is a "joint" effort. When currencies collapse in the future, and folks get "talked off fiat money and back into gold, silver, etc." the price of these metals will skyrocket because the market will have been cornered by then. The banks will see to it that prices rise as "inexplicably" as they are now falling. And governments will become "liquid" again.
If that article in any way substantiated that the market for gold is highly manipulated (I don't know if it did, as I stopped reading very early in it), then good and great, because it is. But, gee, doesn't everyone already know it is the most price manipulated market there is? If that was the point of the article, it certainly isn't worth reading. It is "old news" and nobody really needs any further "proof".
And really, who should care why gold, or silver, or anything else is manipulated down, ....or up? Just see it for what it is and trade it! Now, if someone wants to "own and hold" precious metals, that is another situation. Now is not the time to own or buy. Personally, I'd wait for signs of currencies collapsing first. The Cypress event was just a shot across the bow. Something more dire first, then start buying precious metals, because between now and then, a lot more downside can be manufactured by the banks and governments as they seek to haul in more and more tonnage for the fiat money they are buying it with.
