Dollar attempting a recovery against all majors. Let's see if it is just a pullback from the correction or a resumption of the trend.
Again, 1.3000 is the key level here on a daily close basis.

Anybody familiar with the "descending & narrowing triangle" formation?
What can we expect tomorrow?
I consider a scenario where we can see price breaks through the bottom only to reload and jump higher...
What do you guys think?

Oh certainly YES...
There are 50% and 61.80% Fibo retracement on its way which might be a good point to re-bounce.
Until Thursday (Ben Bernanke) we have only "German ZEW Economic Sentiment" tomorrow so mostly we will rely on technical analysis only.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I agree that the euro's upside is limited by that TL and I'd further speculate that the 61.8 of the 1.3415-1.2755 will be tough to get a daily close above.

Personally, I'll pass on playing that potential scenario, not because it can't happen but because I still believe in the longer term down move and there is a much higher R:R that direction.

Any movements to the north could be like a "bargain shop" to open SHORT positions for a pretty good price.
Thursday Ben Bernanke's talk-talk can push the price any direction...

Among many other reasons, if the Fed is so disappointed with a 7.5% unemployment rate, how disappointed do you think the ECB is with an EZ wide UE rate of almost 11%?

You are "logical" while market is "irrational"
Last week we had 300-400pips spike after B.B. and then next day I heard in the NEWS that "the investors reaction was exaggerated and too emotional"
Ok, it was, but now I (the trader) am licking my wounds after all trades were hit by SL... it doesn't make me feel any better :-)

Since it's been a relatively slow trading day today, I though I would bring this little news tidbit to your attention.

How can a news anchor not notice that these were fake names?

I almost blew 7-up all over my keyboard.

"The National Transportation Safety Board apologizes for inaccurate and offensive names that were mistakenly confirmed as those of the pilots of Asiana flight 214, which crashed at San Francisco International Airport on July 6," the NTSB said in a statement.

"Earlier today, in response to an inquiry from a media outlet, a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft," the NTSB said.

The NTSB went on to announce their latest hire into the summer intern program, Moe Szyslak .
