I just started to test one EA of my own. I started to test it yesterday. Well not exactly, yesterday I started to test last variation of my EA. It is based on old 3.0.1 indicator, I cannot figure out how to call new 4.4.
In this one day (not that it means anything, but it`s nice to see) I have almost 10% growth - 6 currencies EU, GU, EJ, UJ, AU, UCAD. Altogether 11 trades 7 positive, S/L=33 and trailing. I am doing forward testing, and I will break testing for now because I am going on holidays and will be continued in September.
Have several ideas how to improve it, but I don`t believe in backward testing and it takes much time to see how some new improvement works. (Means it will never be ready for use). If someone would like to join me in testing variations, you are welcome. Also if someone would like to provide mq4 version of 4.4 Symphonie maybe we can try this one too and altogether we can accelerate testing.
Also I would like to know why previous EAs didnīt work. I am not very skillful programmer and (maybe because of that) it looks to me pretty easy to make EA.
Anyway, my EA works for now, and it`s positive (not on HIV).

After yesterday's dramatic rise (over 300 pips) I am uncertain of selling because of the strong upswing. However, if one looks at the daily it was a perfekt 61.8 fib pullback off the drop from 1.34 to 1.27800. I am not going to question I an just going to follow the technicals.

On EUR/JPY we have strong support level that was broken, now price is checking this level, waiting for sell signal from Symphonie (fast settings). Current result for today +26 pips.

i like this type of strategy, is clear and easy to understand, like set and forget,

Your work seems simple , like a traffic light. Great Job for me

With a little of price action patterns easy to take.

My idea is to use the sistem on H1 with the filter of H4 (usign the same strategy) , demo trading it first .

Is there any boy who do the same?

Hi ,

this is what i've noticed , doing some quick becktest ( i use the New York candle close , the symphonie trader basic v2 template.tpl with basic setting)

when on 4H the extreme - emotion - sentment show the same color ,

on 1H i go only in the same way, when the same three indy show the same color of 4h

so it show good signal and fast you came into reverse trend without waste nice chance

basically i don't use the trend line becouse it usually comes too late.

Now, i don't know how the problem of repaint influence my little work...

there is someone who has done something similar?

something else that i noticede , filtering with 4H, ( on e/d , g/d ,e/j , g/j, e/c )

it take me out from the noise of range markt , i don't like trade range,, i don't want it.

and the best is that i work only on the candle close time

so not all the day in front of pc , five minutes at hour for check

good signals with stop loss from 20 to 50 pips , TP with R/R 1/3 by drowing fib retrace on the signal candle usually price hit 4.23

Anyone has tried to make an EA out of it? The rules can be adapted to logic. If u are trading according to rules, then its possible for automation. Unfortunately not anyone is proficient at reading charts with so many indicators (or even one indicator). Certain trading time zone allows for more action and price movements, so those that live on other parts of the world, whereby 12pm = 12am may have difficulty trading this strategy.

If anyone is willing to make an EA, I dont mind contributing to your effort (offline discussion of your charges pls, by pm me here)

I'm new at this forum. Actually, I'm new to the trading. I opened my first demo account a few weeks ago.
I'm interested in trying your system. I downloaded and installed it. But I'm not sure about the settings. I followed the posts to this topic and I see different settings posted for use in 5M timeframe, specifically the Extreme indicator. Is it 0.0057 or 0.00057?

Here is the list of all the settings I currently have. Please let me know if they are correct or not.

Welcome to Symphonie Trader System thread. Both setting are correct it is just a matter of how sensitive you wish to have your extreme indikator. My suggestion would be to play with the settings and decide which you think best fit your trading style.
