EJ 12 Jul:
It was quite fun trading with some of you during the NY open half session.
Some of you got some good number of pips ... until London close. be warned about London closing when market is not trending.

Now as promised, see EJ H4 and its PAC.

It is Friday market again, so don't expect big move and holding trades over the weekend. For this pair, trade low TF and get out before NY closes today.

I am kind of lethargic right now after a late lunch .... ... need to make myself a double espresso...be back soon!

Hi longbk,

let me see...

you traded TMS for 2 months in H1 timeframe and you always have good entry.
Exit is simple then ... always exit before market reverse ... i.e. when you see a good entry in the opposite direction of your trade, this what some call trade invalidation.

- how many H1 trades done so far in 2 months?
- what are your trading hours?

i do about 150 trades, my favourite's pull back candelstick, break out asian seasion with strong maket move, but some time i do on a retracement on fibo,it's move good for few hour then reversal,i lose many pips,i always read phx62 comment,i see him is good trader in H1 , but i can't see chart all time, how can trade with no stress ?

Here is an example how you can use M5 to get an entry after you see a H1 pullback candle.
Remember PA is ranging in H4 within its PAc which about 75pips wide... good to scalp and also set TP expectation,

EJ 12 Jul h1 trade update partial exit +34pips, BE trade.
Final TP set at lower H4 PAC ... 2R trade target.

I think anyone in this thread want to join you emmanuel,you are such a nice guy. I would like to join too. But I hope it doesn't put more burden on your shoulder and it will be a place for us to learn. And IMO if you want to make it work you should have some set of rules for it so no one will take it as a signal center.

Anyway,about today market. The market pre-LO seems really quiet. Maybe the market is run out of steam today after a lot of news happen this week. But let's wait and see if the LO will give us anything .

my thoughts:
- 150 trades in 2 months that's 40 tradings days, which means more than 3 trades per day. Slightly on the high side but experienced traders can achieve that.

- you pointed out 3 of the common H1 intraday trading -

1) pullback candle
2) Asian session range bearkout
3) Fib retracement S&R

Exits:
You have a question on when to exit your trades, but..
you did not explain what type of entry and exits you use.
Do you trade with Single Entry / Single Exit or Single Entry / Multiple Exits?

I think going forward, it would be good for you to post your trades with charts and we can discuss the entry and exits aspects in trading H1.

Every H1 trade can run for 2 to 6 hours maximum, therefore unless you can sit and manage trade manually for the first 2 hours, then you need to use a trade manager EA.

Trading comes with some stress. you need to develop the mental fitness to handle the stress. No way out of this one. No zero stress trading when we trade manually.

Here is an example how I view H1 price pullback and checking M5 to see it PA and determine if I can use that H1 pullback and look for Buy entry.

Anyway,back to trading. I'm keeping my eyes on AU and EJ now. AU H4 chart are possible will have another IB after 2 previous IB.

Updated: Waiting for EJ and AU H4 candle to close to see what the market will give us. If you can see on AU H1 chart,PA are still ranging inside a triangle. Today is Friday so expected low volume in the market. Trade carefully everyone.
