Sometimes it starts rallying NORTH when he starts his speech, and then fall down like hell when he's finished.
Today's movement is really strange. I can't see many of them, so powerful, on my charts.

No... Even if I stayed in the trade I would have jumped OFF much earlier, as it would be so hard for me to believe price can go so high in one go...

I've seen this before. Admittedly its not common, but short coverings on the Euro (or stop hunts) can be quite wild.

Hi TP, okay I see. However, I was thinking anyone willing to buy goods from China would need to buy USD to pay, rather than holding CNY accounts....and this demand would go down with less business. So I went trough a few CNY news on this website and looking closer on H4 found a doji on that particular release. This is how I came up with this. Wanted to find out a bit more about the initial signal of this move. I also remember someone in one of the threads here talking about his CNY release to go long...that also why

? Is PT's trading station fully automated ? I see his "Return this month" slightly picking-up while he said he was packing up for the night ? Seems to be a correlation with EURUSD slightly heading south atm....

I hear you. I am short at 1642.9 and 1660.0
Both are underwater, but I am holding them and targeting 1475 area with a stop on a weekly close basis above 1700

When I pack it in, I don't close my trades. I use very sound money management techniques that allow me to leave open positions without worry.
I use the sleep test to determine if I should leave a trade open. If I can't sleep, I get up and close it

Last night, I left all my trades open and today I am only 1.1% underwater compared to as high as 3.3% yesterday.

If we get a good US unemployment claims number today (below 345K), we should see the USD regain some ground and maybe cap this SPX500 BULLshit train.

Price bounced off the 50% of the Bernake move (12843-13205). Break of descending TL might be good for retest near highs, mental stops below fib.

Wow, what a move made by the EURO.... any idea why a 400 pip move so sharpish? Was it all to do with the FOMC and BB or something else I'm missing?
