I think they all waiting for tomorrow speech of Fed, to make picture clear and gain retailers confidence. 1,2750 lowest point and big key level for eu, break of it will lead to 1.27 and possible 1.2670 area. Today was very important drop below 1,28. bounce from 1.2750 it is only partly closed positions(some cash-out i call it) Tomorrow Fed will talk at 4:10 pm et which is make sence, NY will be closed and market will be open for any speculators without control. My expectation for tomorrow is to decent bounce back from level 1.2750 back to 1.2850 at least, before Fed news and possible drop down belo1.27 level. But i might be wrong!

My point was completely different, for a guy who can multiply his account by 1.15 in one trading day, even if he couldnīt keep the pace on daily basis (which I somewhat suppose), opportunity costs clearly easily overweight over potential dividend+value gains over time. Even if I include risk into the equation.

Because, as you brilliantly pinpointed, 4 or 5 years have passed already.

i missed the entry at 2750.. i bought at 70.. my stop is below 2743... just above 2743 was the best r/r spot for 3741... as stated i am not in the 374x camp. structurally it is a valid target.. one can do some math and see if the fibs fit.

So you basically kept part of your capital fixed to an asset which tripled its value in 5 years + gave you some (probably insignificant) dividends...

Now compare it with what you could do with the money instead (in terms of trading, obviously), of course if you keep your books organized and you are able to do this kind of calculation, and compare those two figures.

...and these are the opportunity costs I was talking about.

Anybody looked @the big picture? We're at June 2010 lows (about) 100% fibo. Dollar Index is tracking 3 year highs, broken support...
Where is the bottom of this?
Are we due to begin trend reversal?
OR
Has this bear got legs...?
imo the pattern would have gone bullish if it were not for the poor news. I've got longs but want to know if I should SL

Kid, listen very carefully. Do yourself and us a favor, drop live trading immediately, dive your nose into books, get some know-how about trading and as soon as you feel confident enough not to ask such incredibly stupid questions and trade for yourself, come back and share your opinions.

You will save yourself a great deal of money and some rather insignificant server space for FF.

yup, it really did go below $1 ...I checked (don't know why all charts show a low of $10.3/share) brings memories from when i was stupid enough to watch CNBC everyday. now i remember them discussing whether it would go to zero, and i thought buying would be like throwing $ away on penny stocks... uh! if only i'd understood as much about cronyism as now
