When you spot a top or bottom forming, you should already know about the retracement levels of the preceding leg. Eg where are the fib-levels of the drop before. Look for respect towards those. Try 3110/3111 from the recent low on Friday. That way you have the numbers in advance and constantly checking for respect makes you find the path early on. Right or wrong, nothing else is needed except tight mm

nice almost i hammer (hangman) on the 4h, followed engulfing happened during London early u.s. a red one would be better.

you need a broker providing the correct candle closes, NY-closes that is. If not possible, forget about H4 charts forever.

nope, oanda uses a 'very special' setting for it's MT4, unique to the whole business. to cut it short... it's unusable.

yea.. the bars on mine and est gives a totally different meaning.. darn... now i need to find a demo on est since the settings are broker controlled..

this is getting confusing... on oanda's site it says...

The time zone on the MT4 platform is Eastern Standard Time (GMT - 4) and cannot be changed.
The daily candles for both fxTrade and MetaTrader 4 close at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (GMT - 4). This cannot be changed.
