Whatever works better...Correct me if I am wrong, but current production costs of carbon fiber are way above costs of mining silver. When we get to the point when they are comparable, then silver and co. gets dumped but are we there? I donīt think so. Shall we get there anytime soon (...years)? I donīt think so either. Also, Iīd consider transaction costs of moving the whole industries from one way of doing things to the other + it obviously wonīt happen in a day.

through automation any step can be completed quickly, at one time the silica chip was a big deal. then someone built factories. and the we could retail a watch for 1$ and make 50%..

Even if alternative technologies sling shot past silver in terms of usefulness or efficiency, silver will always have appeal because of it's multi-faceted nature. Physical and the miners are going to be a great buy once this USD cycle runs it course.

in the 1800's aluminum was more valuable then gold. then Bare built a plant.
