100 / 8=12.5
3x 12.5= 37.5 r the opposite 5x 12.5=62.5
this is not for targets (gray area) nothing is a 100%. this is mostly for retrace. most i see here, "have to be in a trade". its why they fail. most here will read this and still will think they have a better way. some do, most dont. first off, you want r/r on your side. the ones longing near 34xx got burned. the ones shorting near 2740/2814. will most times get burned. i am not talking about scalpers who get out long before the draw-down. go back and read the sentiment here days before 34xx and as we fell.

i am not eu bullish. 2742 + has to be poked. and even if its poked a retrace is normal. if its not, bulls already said when they broke 32xx months back they wanted higher. that can be cancelled with the 2742 or lower move. whats missing here is the bears were/are targeting sub 1876. and they needed a retrace to do it. that retrace was to 3711.. so all the bulls may be missing the previous unfinished move. now just because we go to 2742 does not mean we go down after straight to 1876... most times 32xx will get a visit. then u will read here all the 1.4 crap as usual.. its just normal pa... we already did 32xx a few times.. we dont have to go back..

Very true. Just spent 7 hours today doing my analysis for upcoming sessions and weeks. No bullshit, no fun, just hard work. Most donīt have balls for that cause itīs so much easier to load the graph with 15 indicators and see what happens...and I donīt blame them, was there myself years ago. Some will get stuck, some move forward. Natureīs law.

Btw Q3 earning season coming up next week with Alcoa, JPM, Wells Fargo...Those numbers might tell a lot.

And people, keep your eyes pinned to three things more closely next week than you (hopefully) usually do - SP as your risk on/off meter, oil (!) and FI (especially european in troubled areas). The whole story is there.

I could only take about 15 minutes of this. For one, although there are parallels in patterns, the stock market is so corrupt at the brokerage level, it has little to do with the currency market. That is not to say there is not corruption in forex but the influences are more based on commerce than speculation. In the stock market the brokerage houses are the power brokers while it is the central banks that cause most the influence in currency. Do I really have to say--for you purists out there--that there are other influences than just the central banks? The dollar being tied to oil is a major concern.

If I bought stocks in strong volume, I always got my price at a market purchase. He seems to be making much ado about nothing...

apple didn't hit 371.52 Aprils target yet. if/when it does, i will probably have a lower target of 312.50/305 min
