The trend direction is determined by where the MM's choose for it to be headed. PVSRA is an early
glimpse of which direction they have chosen. The trend can't develop until after the MM's have
finished building their position.
If the trend is in a DIFFERENT direction from what was originally determined by the PVSRA analization,
then a current (and PVSRA is constantly being monitored) PVSRA study would have recognized the
sentiment change, and the trade would have been closed.
It isn't a "set it, and forget it" thing. All trades are constantly analized to confirm it is still valid. Due to
this, the trade isn't allowed to run into oblivion.
That's my take on it anyway, for what it's worth.

as a learner, i also agree with Tymedu and support his opinion.
to me and to other learners, contamination of the thread is really annoying.
TAH does not and never recommend to trade like him, but he posts all EPs and TP.
why? i know why because i read and study a lot.
and if folks want to know why, then read the latest 100 pages of thread and read 130 pages of PVSRA tutorial.
now, everyday folks come to the thread and say "your trade is risky because trend is friend" or "averaging loss is risky", blah blah...
you say risky but TAH showed he made his account from $1000 to $8000.
you wonder? then, read the latest 100 pages, read 130 pages PVSRA tutorial.
after that you can start to claim "TAH, you are wrong. counter-trend and averaging loss are risky and not good. Making $1000 into $8000 is risky and not good."
here is just my opinion.
all traders including sonicers agree with "trend is your friend".
all traders including sonicers agree with "averaging loss is risky".
so people trade with trend and take SL.
then, why so many strategies, systems, or EAs are represented again and again over time?
why only 10% of traders can make profit?
why so many folks come to thread and say "you are wrong", without showing their trade and profit?
on the other hand, sonicers seem to trade with counter-trend(its actually not trade with counter-trend) and average their loss(again, its not actually averaging loss), proving that they make profit.
according to PVSRA, MMs trade with counter-trend and average their loss, but their salary goes to $1 million...
i want to know the secret and so far it seems only PVSRA can answer.
so please do not contaminate this valuable thread and please do not disturb learning.

Another thing Sonicers. PVRSA is meant to add to WINNING positions. Not the other way around. Am I lying? See page one. Sonicers, you cannot be afraid to take a loss.

That explains it all. There are both the Classic and the Scout trades. Trading Classics is a straight forward proposition, and PVSRA can help them be better qualified. If a qualified setup still "turns", then ongoing PVSRA can help to determine if the trader should exit or add using Scouts. Trading Scouts in a non-Classic way frequently involves adding while the price is still moving in the "wrong" direction, just as the market movers are doing in order to create liquidity for their position building. In this case, we plant seeds as they continually move the price in the "wrong" direction, bringing the price to better and better planting grounds. Trading this way requires trading very, very light relative to account size. PVSRA is just a form of analysis, nothing more. And the only result of a proper PVSRA is the determination that the market movers are bulls or bears, nothing more. What a trader does with this information, or even if they want to do the analysis, is totally up to them.
If you can demonstrate effective Classic trading, with or without using PVSRA in some manner, please do it. That is a worthy contribution to this thread because ongoing examples of success encourage and educate all Soniers. PVSRA is not the highlight of the Sonic R. System thread, trading simply and effectively is.

It is difficult for people, especially young people, when their belief systems are challenged. They want the challenger to simply go away, so they can continue to fantasize. This is normal behavior. The market will take those delusions away from them over time.

Agreed that it is difficult for ALL people when their belief systems are challenged.
Young people fantasize, older people also fantasize, the older people just fantasized about different things and may not admit to what they really fantasize.
Disagreed that it is difficult especially young people, coz it is actually more difficult for older people as their belief systems are more entrenched.
For younger people, they are still not quite moulded, and their belief systems may still be easily swayed, and should expect younger people to be more adaptable.
Some people like to challenge, some like to be challenged, some run away from challenge, and some take the challenge head on.
It is normal behaviour in that all people will react differently, whether it is for the better or worse, whenever their true belief systems are challenged.
To tie this comment back into relevance, this is why there are so many opinions and view points on Sonic Classic, Scout, PVSRA, Risk Management and Money Management throughout the whole forum.
And because I may disagreed with most comments, I prefer to stay away to comment on the forum, but do still read for leisure and funny lines like the original post that prompt me to reply.
