Member of "Customs Union" of Europe but not a member of EU mate. Waiting at the door since early 60s to enter but with that size of population and so many immigrants in Germany, it seems unlikely. EU is just not fit enough to carry a massive size. They may be approved as a special member where EU restricts free travel of labor force however Turkey understandably finds it insulting and currently pissed off with Merkel and any right parties of Germany. But who knows, maybe one day.. The economy is still booming and Europe needs a fresh young market to sell their products. Turkey will leave customs union soon I guess in case a membership of EU is not granted...

i dont have my hands on it. isn't the unemployment rate 30/40 % for 30 year olds and under? hasn't it been like this for 4/5 years? if this is the case, where is the money for the retirees coming from. I mean they are broke (no reserves), so money in leaves w/o building up. and each day more retire and more social cost. as the unemployment rises.. all ponzi schemes fail.

We had a tanks and martial law on the streets when I was born, cause working class was squeezed by the state. Back then they didn't have much it was social unrest and fight for labor and normal life. People nowadays have much more to loose trust me.
The other fact as you said you are a Catalan and don't care about Spain that statement worries me a lot, so what if you guys decide you want to have independent state, and Madrit says no, and you start to throw stones and they send tanks,
impossible you say?
The whole europe slide towards it mate not only Spain or France you mentioned, here in Poland there is a right wing movement going on like everywhere else cause people are fed up with all that bs.
It's a depression and those times always end up in war.

Not only in Germany they are everywhere in Europe and specially with its internal problem like "Kurdistan" - if i spelled that correctly? - it is definitely UNLIKELY hows you Math?

The faster social welfare is reduced, the faster the climate heats up. Did the standards in education at school drop during the past 2 decades in Spain?
"Civil War" is a term that I used, it doesn't matter how you call it... social unrest is not a severe enough term to employ, that's what I figure in these circumstances. It is not my intention to embarrass the Spanish, French... not even the Turkish
I just observe what is going on... it could be a long time, for restrictions are implemented one by one. But "social slavery" is coming in Europe, while the unemployment figures drop to nearly zero. And I can tell you, we (the Germans) know how to do it.

Let's clarify: No citizen wants violence, war, unrest. It's just that most of us don't decide for themselves what they (we) want.
