bears seem quite restrained, one could almost say whimpy. There's also very little volume, could it be that we're about to wintess a massive reversal? Needless to say it fits my agenda quite well, but is also becoming more and more likely.

I'm saved by placing a Stop Loss on my last trial for today.

As a newbie, I feel that using a Stop Loss is really hard, I'm still learning how to use Stop Loss properly. But at least I'm happy with it.

Sometimes I cut my profits too early, but on another time I let my losses runs till 2 days. Now I'm understand that I'm so wrong with this situation.

The latest downmove is due to the SL trigger... I think it will move back to 3000 today. So long entered @72

Holding for 2959....wondering if due to the time of day if we might get a pop UP or LOWER. Trying to decide whether to close on my SHORT from 3043

i dont know what to tell you. 2959 is a target, and so is 2878. at some point after reaching 2959 a bounce is normal. i dont know how deep after it. the 2878 target may provide one last spike to 3042 before 2878. i dont know if it will happen, it just happens most of the time.

how many times do you see the market reverse at this time? where is the large money? not saying it can't, but what are the odds?
agree on you win some, you lose some. but not to that extent, i don't think.

    ... open. its Friday and already just 7h left till NY closes. if we would stumble below 2962 before .. the maybe the rest is still possible. just very unlikely. if the 40 year tide is changing, moves like this ...

I'm the idiot who lost bad on last week's spike. This week I shorted at 1,3066, tp at 0.30.09, re-entered s at 1.30.32 (too timid to L on the bounce) currently s from 30.29, after a couple of false starts. have set sl at 1.2954, on my chart. also have 2 x s running on to 1.288, but with a sl at 1.2986 ,think they may get stopped out on a possible bounce?

Different strategy for different people. I like to scalp. get in and get out fast. Most of my trades are for 7-15 Pips. I have never gone for the big moves. But I scalp very carefully. some days it goes my way, sometimes not, but my loses are limited...

Thanks for your advice though. I will get out at S turn R level, about @2990

it's got nothing to do with strategy. for you to call sl trigger alone was an ambitious attempt, period.

In my chart,Ichimoku in the daily chart, there is a last resistance at 1,2957, the cdaily cloud. The tenkan Sen is very close to cross Kinjun Sen, that is a very sell strong signal. THe cross can be tonight, tomorrow...
