Today is an absolute mess. It seems that all the mt4 brokers just happen to have issues today. No connection, stops not being executed, now even orders aren't opening.

Check the mailbox on their platform for more information about this issue.

I did, sounds like a load of BS. The same day that this whole Cyprus fiasco happens, they start having problems.

I suppose this whole mt4 update screwed up a lot of things. The timing of that update could not have come at a worst time lol. I guess these things happen sometimes.

From Armadas platform mailbox:

" The trade reporting issue that affected some of our clients today is now fixed. The issue took place because MetaQuotes' recent update that was installed this weekend included a small coding error.

Armada Markets, LMAX, Alpari and other large brokers were affected by this today. MetaQuotes has informed us that they will release an official appology in the coming days. We are truly sorry that some of our clients were affected.

Please review your open/closed positions and orders and inform us by email [email protected] if you see any irregularities. We are here to help as always.

We have already made steps with our close partner primeXM to protect our clients from similar issues in the future. What we are extremely happy and thankful about today is that many of our clients have sent emails and called us today and said that they support Armada and understand that this issue was not our fault. It shows that when you have a difficult moment then you truely know who your friends are. Thank you for your support. "

I am not happy with Armada. They advertise extremely competitive spreads. However, they are not really competitive compared to Pepperstone. Actually many times spreads are double to Pepperstone. I opened account with Armada but 12 hours later I am closing it. The reason is also instability. FreezeLoger recorded 10 instances where price did not move over 60 seconds, in the last 12 hours this was total of 30 minutes, out of which one was particularity noticed half an hour after London open when platform froze for 375 seconds. Pepperstone in this time had zero freezes above 60 seconds.

I am enclosing a screenshot, you will see for comparison at the same time Armada had 2.0 pip spread on GBP/JPY Pepperstone had 0.9. The FreezeLoger Alarm is from Armada.

i am disappointed with armada too! previously, their spreads was not too bad but nowadays,it seem abit off..not really v.wide but not competitive anymore! a few times,i feedback abt the connection issue and missing datas, but their replies were, either, that my laptop is not able to cope with their inflowing if datas or faults comes fr my ISP[even after checking with my ISP].till now,i really hope that armada is the real stuff and not some scam broker! Has anyone tried doing a withdrawal yet?

Yup. I snapped pictures of the missing 1mins bars on GBPUSD and GBPJPY when I complained to Live Chat operator earlier today. She said to email them so they can respond to me. I was stuck in open trades so this advice didn't help at all and got me really angry.

From elsewhere,

No idea what is going on with pepper but Armada support gave me answer that some liquidity provider is dropped again and it should be reconnected before tomorrow.
They said that those DCs are automatic and they cant predict them in front. Its a probem of connection stability between their servers and liquidity provider, they explained...
They should really work on stabilizing those connections then. Or make a doubled connections. Its perfectly doable with current hardware, software.

That is a bullshit! They tried to sell you a fog! I had 2 MT4 open with 2 different brokers. Both were running FreezeLoger. After 13 hours Armada broker had 14 times where price did not move for more then 60 seconds, with cumulative freeze over 30 minutes. Pepperstone in this time had NONE. So it is not ISP or computer problem otherwise both MT4 would rapport same time freezes!

Put FreezeLoger on the chart, modify so it records all non-movements above 60 seconds. Enjoy alarms Freezes are recorded in a daily file, each day separatedly. It is a custom made indicator, I am not selling it, I am giving it for free.

Sorry, but 13 hours after I opened live account with Armada I closed it I wanted to use it as a copy trade from Pepperstone as Armada suppose to have tighter spreads...but...no... I think my screenshot in my first post in this thread says it all...
