More positive data from US, less unemployment claims than previous month, pending house sales much higher than expected & a SIX YEAR high there. China struggling, Gold dropped $30 or so in a short time overnight (I caught the short on that lolol), so I expect AUD to follow down. On hourly chart its almost slapped like a magnet onto the 50EMA & cannot seem to break higher than 0.92xx-0.93xx going almost sideways past few days, SO I cannot see what all this talk of BULLs are in control or reasons for people going long at all right now actually. There has JUST been a leadership spill, where the Prime Minister has been overthrown YET AGAIN but that may actually prove briefly positive for the economy IF & WHEN Mr Rudd immediately scraps the carbon tax & some other awful policies that Ms Gillard forced us to have. Having said that, an election only several months away & likely change of Government. For me, there is NO TRADE at present either technically or hypothetically, cos we simply do not have clear direction from my understanding of the whole picture, any move likely not significant enough to risk a trade. I don't expect everyone to see the pair the same as me but I'm a realist & look at facts not "what ifs". As a 'true blue Aussie', I LOVED seeing the AUD hold above parity with USD, but from my perspective it looks highly unlikely we'll see that again for a very long time. I hope by saying this that we now get a big move to show us what to do (Murphys Law haha).

The commodity crosses (gbp/aud, gbp/nzd and to a lesser extent eur/aud & eur/nzd) were long due for a retracement. That's what is supporting aud & nzd for now. Just need to be patient.

Looks like a bearish wedgie to me on 4 hour.
Also long EA.

To me only option is up.Getting 2.75 interest to wait at such low numbers is basically a waiting game until your orders are in +500pips in profit.
I have large orders waiting at 92 even

I'm flat now. Settled for 30 on AU and 52 on EA.

Indeed true that this pair could not hold itself above .9325 as mentioned last week. There goes the hope of bulls. A break of .92 levels will goes all the way down to .9135.

that would be lovely. I need to think whether is a good idea to start buying there as gold has some ideas about going dooooooown and can pull aud.... Today cant think, too much other things. Will do over weekend.

Forming nice hammer candlesticks on AUDUSD and EURAUD on the hourly TF. Also Fibonacci pivot support (weekly S1 & daily S4 for AUDUSD; monthly R3 and daily R4 for EURAUD). I'm long AUDUSD at 0.9138 and short EURAUD at 1.4267. Others looking to hop in?
