... I've done that a few times lol.... it never works..... the one day I stay up late is the day Tokyo ranges lol. Now I just try and specialise in getting small swings In London, if there's been massive moves in Tokyo.

I've just downloaded the CSM and it stopped me from shorting AU. Both AUD and USD are equally strong

Absolutely. Thanx again WD for re-introducing me to this tool. I didn't know how to use it before. Now I just look at the readings prior to taking a trade. I think before I'd try and look for a trade after taking a reading and then I was going in when the currencies had reached their highest range and trading opposite.

I believe the person who introduced this tool to the genesis thread used it a few minutes before LO and NYO, and just paired strong vs weak... Allows you to avoid being caught up in a ranging market.

Excellent stuff WD. So if you stick to your journal and only take the strong/weak currencies I'm expecting your success rates to be in the 80%+ ....I'll be checking on you and me of course.

That's what my winrate used to be a few months ago, before I was forced to take a long break (monthly long) from forex due to RL issues... Then I came back and did random stuff, all leading to stop losses... Hopefully I am back now, this week will be spent on demo so that I can get my confidence back and then it's live trading 4 lyfe. I might upload my journal in pdf format at the end of the week, we'll see

and there's the fact that when you go live your emotions try to take over... I can't explain it, it's like today's EA trade.. I just knew it would reach my target. I haven't gone in a trade with my live account with such absolute certainty yet...

I could have taken a few random trades today but they would have messed up my 100% success rate. So I'm going to have to re-think how I get to my 300+ pips. No iffy trades....

If you ask me, either choose very liquid pairs (yen crosses should do, GJ, EJ that kinda stuff), or take longer term trades or just do what I did before, and that is take trades on correlated pairs. Easiest way is the last one, imo. Because risk is minimal, yet what you reap is enormous. Of course your account needs to be big enough to handle 2-3 of the same lots you would use on one pair... That is why I don't do it on live. Still need to grow my account a little bit before I can do that.

No, I just saw the m15 arrow, the matrix, the bounce from DP (continuation of the previous bear move) and the stox and just knew where it was going

.... yep... I can see a route to getting that 300 thats not too risky .... let me make a plan... ...... ok I'm off now till tomorrow - don't give any pips to the market.

EDIT looks like the FXI Pivots indi does either daily or weekly pivots....

Yeah I got out of half my position at BE. I thought it would run farther but I'm happy to have held my ground rather than take the first profit with what seemed to be a HPT trade. So its all good. Patience
