Hey everyone

RJ you are my man , I have learnt everything from this thread & from you and it doesn't matter what people say because i trust you and your judgement

I know I am a newbie but still what I have understood from this thread is the reason why we are using 5-15 TF is because the smaller time frames are the first which reacts to the change.

People who think they should use H1 Stochs as well must consider how long H1 stoch can remain OB/OS, we all have experienced that

So still if someone wants to do this , go backtest it, share the results and then discuss, without results you are creating confusion among several newcomers

My AU long. Bounce off DP.Wasn't very happy with the 5Min stoch but as there's nothing between the DP and Yesterdays High I thought I'd risk it. Also the 1Hr stoch confirms the trade and its above the MA60

Alright can we stop discussing this H1/M30 thing, it's starting to get counterproductive, don't you all agree..? I actually am testing the H1 stoch right now, not putting it on and completely changing my way of trading because it works fine for a few of the posters here... That is also part of the reason I went back to demoing. I will post trades as I take them, I have no problems doing that and I'd be happy to do it. The people who use the hourly stoch have done so for a while now and it's safe to say they've backtested, forward tested etc.

Frankly, I'm okay with just taking signals in the direction of the m15 arrow... I've been a big fan of correlations ever since I started, not that fond of MAs (except for analysing the slope) and I am trying to work on a method that kind of combines those few things.

And I am perfectly aware that stoch can remain OB/OS, I've said it myself a few hundred times now. I use it the exact same way I use the m15 stoch during a trend... It's not the light that guides me and makes my decisions for me... It's just there to help when we're dealing with a prolonged trend. I will post screenshots as I find such setups, to show you exactly what I mean.

In the meantime, here's another EA trade I took... we've got the M15 ASCItrend down arrow, m15 stoch was falling previously (it's a re-entry trade), break and re-test of pivot, same thing happened on AU (very strong negative correlation) + the matrix obviously.

You took the exact same trade as me but on AU instead of EA (-94% correlation)

One more entry for me, on UJ this time. I messed up a little, because I had the m15 arrow on my screen and then it just disappeared, so entry wasn't supposed to be this early, but who cares if it works out

I've exited my AU too ... a bit premature but I never liked the stochs when I took the trade and PA is stalling. The stochs are too high.
