Anyone in open positions? I'm in on the GBP/USD based on the hourly TDI bounce. It is however, above the market baseline which has me a bit worried, probably not the most ideal of trades. I've recently heard on Bloomberg that there is currently dollar strength from the printing of more USD, which would mean x/USD currencies should be on the down.

I've attached my chart for you guys. As you can see the TDI is on the way down, but now looking back, the MBL seems as if it is turning up. Might have to exit this one premature.

Hi Murzilka,

We do not depend on luck when we trade the markets. Unlike buying a lottery we believe in luck to win because the draw is random. The more numbers the more combination and permutations and that increases the losing probability.
Trading requires many diffrenet skills and one of the skills is our ability to read the charts because we are all technical traders trading using techncial chart analysis.
The more skills and experience we have , we put the probability in our favour when we trade with consistency.
Looking at those two trades - UJ and EJ, what time was that when you took those trades? which market seesions? which market was opening and which closing?

TMS has the 'simple' word in it which misleading because the technical method is simple but trading it is not easy. We Price Action with the TDI and the APB. The Stochastics is optional. There is mention about Support and Resistance. Techcically that is simple, only these few things to know and to use.

If you want a checklist, here are 10 things you need to have the skills to read on your charts.

Price Action

Trend

Multi-Time Frame

Momentum

Support and Resistance

Continuation

Volatility

Market Strength

Range

Timing


Knowing all these 10 things is very important for every trade decision we take.

EURJPY h4 and USDJPY h4 trades have good entries, but bad exits.
On EURJPY you was 40 pip in profit on the beginning of next 4h candle. You should put your SL on BE then.
Same thing on USDJPY.

Hi everyone,

Short USD/jpy after failing to break the asian session high, tdi cross on m30 and after Kuroda speach. Hoping for 50 pips before NYO.

Any thoughts ?

I did check the H4 too, probably the only thing telling me this trade may be worth while. I have been in this trade for over an hour and it hasn't yet reached profit. I remember in a previous post, PHX62 exited a trade prematurely based on weak price action, similar to this trade so I found it best for me to take this loss now and look for a better entry.

That was 22:02 GMT when I took them. I guess only Sindey was open at that time. NY closed an hour ago. Tokyo opens in 2 hours.

What do you mean by Continuation? How to read it?
How to read Market Strength?
What is Timing?

Hallo Bernhard,

If you must run MT4, there are possible solutions. You can run your MT4 in a home PC, but make sure there is no interruption to your PC. Or you can use a VPS service or a remote server and use Window terminal to access your VPS or remote server via the Internet

If you run in your home PC, check these out:

1. use MT4 Remote ... http://mt4remote.com/home/

2. use Trade Interceptor ... http://tradeinterceptor.com/forextradingtraining/

You can also consider using a trade manager EA to manage your 4H trades. This is what I do using MPTM. Tesed and proven EA trade manager. Shoudl work for the many pairs you trade simultaneously. It can manage all trade in a basket.

I have been posting these 10 things many times and first time somebody ask me what each one means....

I will answer these with trade examples going forward from now.

Hi Bernhard

I regularly use MT4 on a 10' windows laptop and also a less powerful 'netbook' it runs fine on both as long as you don't have more than one or two instances of MT4 open and you're not using indicators or EA's which demand a lot of CPU power.
For me (as a weak eyed old git) the difficulty is the size of the screen.
However it is absolutely no problem for monitoring existing trades or opening/closing ones you've prepared elsewhere.

Have you looked at the generic mobile MT4 direct from Metaquotes? (For Android, 'don't know about the others, sorry.) you can readily access something over a thousand different servers through it and I found my HotForex server in about 30 seconds - might be worth a look, although I only use it to receive notifications from my machine at home as I find the interface 'challenging'.

wait to see if H4 TDI cross down and Stoch also confirm, then you have a good TMS 4H trade entry ..... I LIKE that you also look at other TF...especially the higher TF H4 and D.

Love the thread, I am looking to start demoing this method. Which are the best versions of the indicators there seem to be several types of TDI which is best to begin. Also seems that a few other indicators have been added over time, are they a part of the system or just add ons by individual traders. Thanks for sharing your expertise I am very excited to try this system.

Yes, the 4H Basic Rule is ...do not enter on the APB candle#3 after TDI cross. There is exception; when we can enter on and after candle#3 i.e. when there is TDI Green bounce off Red.

But use some discretion and read PA of the price bar and can enter during APB candle#3.

Back-test to learn more.
