overbought and oversold // head and shoulder // etc, are relative terms
no one knows exactly where the “end of the leash” is.

there is no 100% in trading
but,, you can try do your best shot / or your best timing

If your entry timing is good enough, you
won't lose much even when you're wrong

Do not try to get all the moves
try to get one or two
it was more than enough

Just to change the subject a bit, I had 8 trades this week 7 win one loss.

My R/R is about 1:1 and I risk 1% of my capital per trade. I have intention to bring my risk to 2% per trade as a limit and I will increase it by every day by 0.1% if I have a winning day to reach my 2 % risk top, if not I will decrease by 0.1% and 1% risk will be my minimum to risk.

So far this week I had a 6% return, which is not that good compared to the last 2 weeks which was 22% (11% per week) but I am happy about it, I only trade the London morning session.

Just sharing and my way of trading does not suit everybody.

My two cents, do not look for clues or correlations, correlations changes all the time and then you need to find another way to reassure your decisions.
Invest some time in yourself, choose a timeframe and one instrument and learn through screen time (with a smaller one, you will learn quickly, not less than 5) then you only rely on yourself and with a lot of dedication and passion you will see results.

Actually, I do not care much about the H&S. Just an observation that it "could" still be in play.
I'm looking for clues because the whole rise from 2745 looks corrective and this leg could be the final C-wave.
However it looks quite bullish atm. The answer may come tomorrow.

I find that patterns (also failed and failure of failed) are reliable specially when I day trade, because they are not influenced by external factors as much.

Edwards & Magee is a great book, it is all there or John Murphy.

Hi Kiwi,

Im looking at the Bear Flag.

But if this Weakening USD and strengthening JPY continues it may change my opinion on FX as a whole.


Little note, look at monthly USDJPY chart. break above 100 was but a pierce with monthly close below 100 (or just on it)

Now that scares me.
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.
