Holy smokes. My USD/CAD long at 1.0219 just got triggered. I didn't expect that to happen till next week.

Here's what I think.

All this time that the Fed has been feeding the markets 85 billion of moose juice per month, money has been flowing from Europe to the US equity markets to take advantage of the returns. Now that the US equity markets are melting down, the initial reaction is for money to flow from the USD back to the EUR and the GBP. It cannot last long as overall the rally in the USD is far from over. So this is nothing more than a violent correction taking out stops along the way.

I'm still in my trades and riding them out.

No I'm still in. A wild vertical correction like this has to come back down to Earth at some point.

Look at it this way for now.
1. Still within the mega supply zone
2. Still within the rising channel on a candle close basis
3. Still below 61.8% of this years melt down.

Super Mario said nothing that wanted to make me buy euros... especially when he's talking about considering negative interest rates. NFP tomorrow that probably isn't going to be very good ... Smells like a bad case of buy the rumors (rumors of QE talk today) and sell the fact tomorrow.

Supply zones stacked on top of supply zones. Be a tough drive to go through all that mess.

I totally agree with your view. Well, either way I am covered with my SP500 shorts. A hedge if you like.

Yep, but I wouldn't put anything past this guy. Why the market still listens to him really baffles me. He managed to save the Euro with a monetary policy measure that never saw the light of day. LOL
