Trading Levels with WRBs

See my trade below (screenshot taken right after the trade). I've entered UJ at 99.32 and setup my SL at -30 pips and TP at +60pips. My risk management is 2% and RR ideally at 1:3, but here is 1:2 which I'm fine with. There are few mistakes that I myself noticed and have exited this trade. I am further intrigued to share my trade as traderathome's post confirmed my learnings as well as enlighten me more on the MM's playbook and factor in all of this. Please feel free to let me know what you think (good or bad).
Mistakes:
- Did not wait for the wave pattern signal. I've entered long on the first leg (meaning I haven't even identified the wave pattern yet and only entered based on PA reversal; see second image below for wave identified).
- Going long while M30 and H1 signifying Bearish sentiment (as well as price below 89 EMA). Even if I entered on the third leg of the wave, the PA wave breaks onthe 5th leg.
- Sleeping through a bad trade.
- UJ pair is more risky for Sonic R / PVSRA method (mentioned in the manuals).
Good:
- Risk management helped alleviate the 26pip loss (only -1.6%). I consider this a small cost for lessons learned.
- Exited before my SL was hit since I noticed my mistake.
- Learning about MM. But still need to learn more to "think" and see how they play (building versus running).
Here you can see the current state of UJ as of right writing of this post. I've identified the true pattern and best entry point in the case I still go against the Bearish sentiment. As we can see, it is still a bad move as I am still in the same position as the trade is biased.
As mentioned by TAH, the MM is building up for a bigger short. I can see that now, thanks TAH. I'll be looking more a short EP if I do decide to trade this pair again as we have another day for the MM to make their big move down. As they say... "Hindsight is always 20/20."
