My weekly.

72% winning trades in my last 2 weeks, not bad. I think I can do better, need to focus a bit more, but often I get distracted, I need to find a way how to maintain that focus.

guys i dno why u guys keep screwing with a manipulatrd market and not investnin bitcoin instead? I spoke to multiple pol making quadruple digit percentage profits over te last bull run.. Its easily the next thing just buy and hold i personally bought devcoin through vircurex msg me for a discount code. That botcoin alternative is like a penny stock but if it has a run like bitcoin did then ill be laughing. Its a real market untainted by market makers and players fighting to kill your margin and sl. No stress for me just holdijg right now chance of a lifetime trust me all i can do is tell you.

With mounting pressure on online money exchanges from US regulators, payments processor OKPay has announced that it is suspending processing for all Bitcoin exchanges, including industry leader Mt. Gox. Dwolla has already stopped processing payments going into the Bitcoin ecosystem. There are many other stories about smaller Bitcoin organisations finding themselves suddenly unbanked: banks simply insisting that they do not wish to provide them with accounts any more.

From the responses I received from my 'trend' posts, I think I need to clarify somewhat. I made a declarative statement (an anathema in the forex circles--and for good reason) that the daily trend turned to an uptrend based on my LR and EMA. Once it crosses over -- TO ME -- it's an uptrend. Others may have indicators that would reveal to them a consolidation or something else. I am just using my indicators that are profoundly consistent for ME.

It was then people started presenting every other trend under the sun other than the one I was talking about and that was the daily trend. Another crossover for me is when the LR crosses a weighted MA which I call upcycles and downcycles. That determines a shift or possible turnaround in a trend. I know everyone has their own lingo but this is what I use. According to my same indicators the EU as of 6/1/2013 is:

30 Min - Uptrend
1 Hr - Uptrend
2Hr - Upcycle
Daily - Uptrend
Weekly - Downtrend
Monthly - Downcycle

Anything under 30 minutes -- TO ME -- is just white noise. I'll use a 15 minute to monitor the wicks to see if it breaks a turnaround condition or not but that's about it.

Since I trade both long and short in any trend what does this info give me? Countertrade precaution. I position differently in a counter trend than a trend trade. Obviously I am much more cautious because it allows little room for mistakes.

The only trend I consider in determining when to trend trade and countertrend trade is the DAILY. The 30M 1HR and 2HR are charts I determine when to open and close a position. The rest, I use holistically. I hope this clarifies my position. It has served me well the last couple of years.

Haha u think someone like me wouldnt do their hw?? This is exactly why i love botcoin market so much more than forex now because of the negatioty from us regulators it is recieving means its onto something.

I consider myself an early adopter ad you could do at this point because you can buy at prices i was buying at 2 months ago.

I believe EFF with challenge the US Govt if they tried to shut down bitcoin entirely.. All they can do is to pressure banks into not supporting bitcoin.. All this negative publicity will only result in more awareness and more adoption by users. Banks and federal reserves will not like bitcoin because it is impossible to devalue bitcoin simply by just printing more because it is mathematically limited at 21 million bitcoins. In addition it is a pure market currency outside control of any govt. The value of the currency is purely based on what the market value it at relative to fiat currencies. I doubt it has the potential to become a commercial Interbank currency but it will certainly become popular as a retail currency to buy and sell stuff.

I am not going to dispute his analysis, I have been also watching these patterns but will like to give another perspective, leaning more to historical pa

Firstly I didnt make up "Sell in May go away" it has been around trader circles for a long time, I latched onto it about 4 years ago, post 2008 crash, can check my posts back to 2010, mid april thru to May Opens each year, , right up intil this year I have warned of this sentiment.

Historically May is Ladies sell off time, not only sell off time, but low risk entry sell off or mini - no wicks on May Candles,
So for anyone who accepted my warnings, should have done ok this May, not only harvesting green "Bear" pips, but also not harvesting red Bull pips,

Sadly this year like every year since 2010, all throughout May, there have been traders, repeatedly stating these girls goin the moon, this is the bottom etc etc, generally most these people disappear because their accounts been hammered or destroyed, many will just reload 10 000 000 monopoly credits.

Anyway, firstly note all the Monthly May candles themselves, wickless or mini wicks, then look at the Aprils candles, the only may sell off to fail was Kiwi 2011, candle wise the previous april candle printed a massive pin, indicated the bulls power, but also check, snb intervention and asia china data late april, was huge red flags for may bears

Now all this has happened and have missed the bus, but can now look at June candles, 4 candles per pr, and historically what happened in June

Generally bears made new lows or at least attacked May low, but bulls virtually in evercase, entered in force in June.
Virtually every candle ended up bullish for June, "but" most of the candles printed spinning tops or doji,s soooo historically, June is an ass to trade, bullish 70/30, but wicky and leggy, awesome for true scalpers, and for me generally light to no trading

My guess is this year will be no different, pa will attack may lows, some even print new ones, then will bounce up and down most of month, dragging in new buyers and sellers and basically wiping them both out, trend traders probably wont even open their books, scalpers and day traders should do ok with the volatility.

I will be watching ladies, because eg aussie, is at very very strong supports, if she or kiwi was to breach and retest, I might consider a dabble

I agree with you. I'm in the video showed an important level for the bears and bulls. 1,3060 if we see until Wednesdey then very soon after that again see 1,2840, then 1,2750 and then the target will be at 1,1950. But if we see 1,3060 on Wednesday or Thursday or Friday, then sales will have to forget in order to bay at 1,3750. In tne video I have the importance of time and price.

As stated earlier, that's the importance of being a dynamic trader. If you want to trade profitably all year, you better be able to switch up your trading style. Some months are scalpers wet dream, some months are swing traders. Regardless, if you have enough tools in your trading tool box, and know when/how to use the right tool for the job- forex is a profitable venture.

I agree wholeheartedly. FX is financial Darwinism. If you are not able to adapt to your surroundings (i.e. trading environment), you're life as a trader will be a poor one eventually leading to extinction.

partly, near these on larger tf i switch to smaller ones. many times the same # pops up over and over. such as 2997... since we didn't break the end of the week low near e-close. a long seemed more likely. i got 30 pips of it, up to the point a st bear would normally make a stand.. i also figured st bulls would show up at 2966 if bears st failed.. i didn't know how that would turn out.. after a while the micro bulls developed, so 298x was a target.. and it held for a little while. then the bulls pushed to the next logical place bears would make a stand, 3001. so far it held. this is where i would normally look to short because Fridays bears want 2872 or 2820... at the same time mid week bulls want 3198, there is also a norm at 3097 before 2663.... i was giving much respect to this, and the close not being under sissy's #, when i closed 2/3 my 3000 shorts late Friday.. if we open est Sunday below sissy'# i may regret that closing. from here i have a good argument for either direction, as posted Friday.. if we go north i plan to short higher. the break of 2998 last week opened 3198. when it happened it was suspect. the last 1/4 closed bearish, we have another in 30 days. after closing last month red. fundi wise i am bearish for years to come. i dont know if 3097 will make it or 3198.. if they do i will be looking for weakness to sell longer term holders. just not stupid enough to hold a short if wrong.

The problem with the mofu, is that you add a 50% to the fib...then you notice another 50% of that one...and the further down you go in tf you notice more I think I added like 12 mofu's this weekend. I'll give it to you though, it's right damn near to the pip. Very nicely done sir.

It was cool reading through your posts and seeing you narrow down your technique. It was like reading a story

add only a hh will void Fridays target 2873 or 2820. the db at 2795 2820 is just a support now and not a db. so even if we do turn bearish, there is always a good chance of getting in at 289x... on the support area bounce, from 2820+ . below 2820 should void 3098, but not norm at 3097 (just 2663 can do that)
a bounce after 2873 but above 2920 may provided a higher entry then 289x
