If wecompare this move to the moves that went on trhoug out the day this doesnt look any differant or exeptional. AT the moment the move has no more strength than it had without the news. As EuroTrader said we must wait for dust to settle.

News blurps over with...3rd attempt in. S 2974 SL 2989 (-15p) TP 2774. Risk off upon 2930-35 break.

EDIT: -15p, no further trades for now.

Nope mate, aint sure it is ready to run up. As I ve said, wtfbearish flag and bearish trend still intact. So LL pretty much still possible. Not catching big fish with small boat here. As I told you, I ve been thinking of dropping whole bottomcatch sequence, since it usually hurts me bad (like now ). Well, in the end I decided not to drop it, but simply use smaller leverage. So bottomcatch entries are now 1:2, which is still managable with SL @ 50-70 pips. Nevertheless, yea, I definitely facked up whole May. Well, at least I ve learned something from it.

Damn I got burned but still looking short. See some weakness now.

I also like the idea of the 5 second chart for these major moves. I might start implementing some scalping strategies on 5 sec for big news items.

I second this, 1.3008 for me.

However; even though I have a short loaded in this area, I'm not gonna pull the trigger. Call it a gut feeling. More US news coming could catapult this more.

I'm currently buying a house...so I actually hope this home sales news is bad too I like my homes cheap.

i saw a "employment up" post that said that was good for the euro.. what if we go to 2896, would that be because of news also? how would one explain a drop after we spiked to 2994 atm, after the employment news. if this happened could we say it was news related? or just normal pa?


i dont know if this would happen. and if it did 2873 or 84 may be in the scope.
