Zooming things in and out have little to do with an up or down trend. In fact it has nothing to do with trending. You are looking at things that already trended. The only trend that concerns me is the on we are in right now--not long term and not short term. Although I have many indicators, what determines a 'daily' up or down trend is when the LR crosses the EMA. That simple. Has worked for years for me. Keep in mind the market has patterns but it can go whacko ever so often so nothing is in concrete. Otherwise, we'd be millionaires already. But my profit is consistent.

Again, zooming charts in and out have nothing to do with a current trend. It may help if you if your trading is based on yearly patterns. Most of my trades are in and out within a 24hr period so zooming charts in and out does nothing for my trading.
