Trades for the day was a SHORT @ 295x and closed for 24 pips. Took a L at 2926 with 2 pip stop which got stopped out but I agreed with gator's approach to this and thinking. Better r/r. I don't regret the trade. I need to think in this DIRECTION more. I think this is a area of growth if I tweak this.

ES just broke good R at 1650 and would agree with EU L but EU has not been following it. More lag today to it.

gator, let's see if I did this correct: a st baby bull to the 2933 was a mid from the high of 2947 to the Low of 2818 if I did this correct. If it was a 33 pip move then half a move from 2933 would get you to 2950. I am looking at a smaller TF to figure this. Is this somewhat or not at all correct? Thanks for your time?

This is what I am watching as well to see if $ breaks out of this R area to go North again which will impact the Bulls or Longs.

I was talking more about the GDP number, not so much about the jobless claims.. Jobless claims is just tiny scrums if it misses, unless it misses big time.

anyway, its not likely any of the two will disappoint but its a clear risk event becase dollar longs are betting on that, its one of the foundations of their long usd rationale.

I really belive that today someone or a group of people went for the exits ahead of the GDP number tomorrow. lack of bearish develpments also frustates bears.

Articles do move markets, the most recent example, look at sub 1.30 move that started at 9 of may. It was an article about fed tampering on wsj.com (even thought the guy who wrote it is known to 'work' as a fed indirect press statment)
I don't belive it was exactly that article, but the information it contains is big. and overlooked.
