If UJ < 101.70 short for target 100.60 so look for another yen cross week pair for a maximum success. If UJ > 101. 90 long for also a 100p target and search for a strong yen cross pair.

{quote} Why do you think the USD ($) and S&P will be hurt today? And EURO strength?
Ignored
it's clean-up Friday (trader traps)
S&P is weak, USD is weak, sharp bull trap occurred a couple days ago, with no signs of subsequent strength (trapped bulls) which means Friday they pull the plug down to the close on lows for max pain.

USD gapped to 84 Asia and rejected (great for euro, it was a nice rise to 1.2999)
and then a double top for USD on the US news (84 failed hard again)
target since 22nd: 1.303 is firmly top of kumo cloud on H4 which I do not think it moves over, once in large kumo can stick there for several days but with large shanks up and down.

long this pair as of 22nd and have been TP along the way up from 1.2843. 2909 is last amount left.

I am short the S&P at the open.

that's the thing, a bull trap one does not realize until it closes around you.
huge rise in S&P, 100 pts in a few weeks.
and now a sentiment shift that came swiftly (trap)
for now I think bull is buying 'pullbacks' at key levels ... not realizing...regime change.
(just my thoughts on swing trading S&P lately)

Very informative. Thanks for the explanation. I watch the ES or S&P Futures a lot to get a clue as to market direction but it doesn't always play out for me as well as it used to. Gator claims correlations have changed and Sisse doesn't think so. That is where I am confused and why I questioned why the EU would get strong with Core Durable Goods Up (+) and thought this would have an impact on either the equities or the Dollar. It appears from what you are saying neither looking at it from a TA point of view. I saw the double top on 15 min chart on USDX around 83.80.

I have a target for EU at 1.3030 if it gets there today; but, it appears Sisse is stating 297x may be a top today and LOW won't be reached this week with Daily turning LONG

Gator is calling for 3097 still without a LL from what I recall.

I took a long at 2918 on the bounce off of 2910. Was looking for another bounce off of 2908.5 (Gator's #) but it didn't come back to test this....at least not yet.

Thanks for the reply!

intraday pullback+retest to 60min high-bar (the reverse hammer) low of 2956 .. should act as resistance now.. further push above 2976 voids that, reverses the intraday picture..
Patience, persistence and probabilities.

Closed my shorts earlier to protect what profits I got ~20 pips x 3.

Looking to short again today IF we hit 1.300 for a quick profit, otherwise I'm out until next week.

Bounce off with very strong vol and reversal m5 candle.

If it is taken out by bulls, most likely new highs....but probability is with the bears until 57 is broken
