Okay that's sounds nice. I also have a news strategy, but i use the correlation between EUR/USD and USD/CHF.

It consists of making 2 trades on the same side of the market. That means iam going long both trades.

Trade #1 – Buy long EUR/USD TP 45Pips / SL 25 Pips
Trade #2 – Buy long USD/CHF TP 45Pips / SL 25 Pips

So I don’t care which direction the market heads – I only care that we get a big enough move.

I use this strategy for big events like Non-Farm payroll report, Retail sales, Consumer Confidence, ISM Manufacturing PMI, ECB events, FOMC events etc.

Just my two cents... tho i'm not pointing into any direction, just asking witch scenario would be more possible...
Monthly. total mess, but looks like we could touch that green TL. don't know, tho middle of triangle, plus TL from previous highs...

High volatility is needed yeah. But I find this the only way to trade news. I haven't found a better way to do it yet. And I need to move on MT5 because it has variable stop loss (previously it was in MT4 too but MetaQuotes banned it).

My system was created more or less by struggling with the high volatility at news release. Either i had to close my trades or i got stopped out. So I develop this news strategy to handle this problem. It works quite well so far
