I wasn't lying though, boj really did keep policy unchanged haha. By the way, don't want to post a chart because it's not to do with genesis, but GU daily is trying to break the 61.8 fibo retracement of the previous uptrend... So I guess it's something to bear in mind in the not so distant future? Oh and I'm not trying to predict, just stating there's a support here

I'm looking at the pairs I trade, big moves tend to happen at FF open or even 1h before that... They stop at LO/2h past LO

Also LOL dat gap on chf pairs...

RJ did a great job of explaining how he uses the HTF to trade. I will add my personal answer as well.

High probability trades are the only trades I try to stay discipline in taking. What do I consider a HPT? A HPT is a trade which moves PA on the lower TF, in the direction of the higher TF(Hourly-Daily-Weekly). If all you did was concentrate on this method, and you use Genesis to help pull that trigger on the lower TF, IMO you've already increase your chances of a successful trade. Does that mean the trade is 100% guarantee of success? Of course not. Nothing is guaranteed, but why not try to increase your odds? Put the odds in your favor as to speak.

I start the week by analyzing the weekly, then the daily to gauge the trend bias. When both are in agreement then there is a bias in the market(Short or Long). If they are not in agreement then the market is ranging and I try NOT to trade that pair. If there is a bias established by what I just describe, then I use the lower TF to align it in that direction. This is what is termed in the market as a HPT. It prevents over trading, and minimizes the whipsaw by the market. This is how I trade. You must find your way, and what fits your style and personality. GL

eu seems like it is waiting for bernanke... I feel bad for having missed good setups on EJ and EA this morning around LO, I'm having trouble sleeping so I'm like a zombie between FF open and the first 2 hours of LO and can't react fast enough to the market handing me pips =(
