fixed all these. now I have to get mt4 to run on wine or something..

with 14 mint never had problems running windows programs ..with wine,,,
but suffered to install java on Ubuntu .. then migrated to mint

I have that on my homeserver, without any GUI. But for desktop, Ubuntu and any derivate just sucks balls. Has become awfully unstable und sluggish.

If for trading, redo the installation and go Debian7. You're only doing yourself a favour by doing so.

I'll be using it mostly in down times for development.. I'm just looking to make the applications transition to amazon aws a little easier as I'll replicate that exact environment locally... I still have Windows 8 as a dual boot.

little scalp for me, first of the day, made 4 pips, risked 3.5. Maybe I should coved partial profit and let the rest run, but it is all easy afterwards.

Able to move above 1.2877. 1.294 still in sight, but still think it is only a small move in the larger move down. Aussie monetary minutes may move risk pairs, but we'll see. Nothing but GBP CPI tomorrow.

Another option if you want to use Suse is to build an image with http://susestudio.com/

You choose what packages and configurations you want via the web tool, it then builds you an image with exactly what you want and gives it to you in what ever format you want ISO, VMware machine or even publish it to Amazon directly. You can save your build and go back and modify anytime
