It would have been a profitable trade and one that I had waited for all day. But since it wasn't 100% by the rules (I opened the position 30 minutes before london close), I was too scared to let it run if it isn't a freetrade. And when I saw price stalling I decided it would be stupid to let this one become a loser, so I moved my SL to b/e reaally early, like 6 pips into profit. Had I done things like I normally do(did), I would have ended up with 20 pips.

It was definitely a stupid thing to do, and I realize it is a rookie mistake, but like I said it was my first day back on live trading tomorrow will definitely be better.

{quote} It looks FXDD includes Sunday candles, while FXPro does not. When you see Monday charts, you see differences. (See today's EU for example).
Ignored
I'm quite sure FXDD does not have a Sunday candle. Maybe I'm wrong about the pivots. I will check thanks. BTW I'm using FXDD-Malta server, which is allowed, even for United States residents LOL. FxPro doesn't seem to allow even demo acounts for United States residents.

**EDIT** I just checked my FXDD pivots vs ActionForex ( using the daily tab.) The FXDD EURUSD pivots look correct

Really?...are you sure? Many people use them and I would be surprised if there was no demo account available to USA residents. You may well be right, but it seems very strange...

How do you change the ASC Trend 2TF to D1 and W1? I have ASCTrend 4TF for M5,M15,H1,H4 and then I don't know how to change the ASC Trend TF to D1, and W1 I have its preset to M5, and M15? Could someone please explain or link the post to how you do that?

Change the settings under the 'Inputs' tab to whatever you like.....

You have the correct window there....just set TimeFrame1.Period to what you want, and the same for the TimeFrame2.Period....and set TimeFrame.Auto to false

I didn't have much time to watch the markets today, but i took this one EUR/AUD short trade.

Reasons for entry(what i'm seeing):
M5 chart showing lower lows and lower highs.
M15 showing lower lows and lower highs.
Stochastic M5, M15 and M60 turning down and not oversold.
ASCtrend M5 to H1 red.
20+ pips to next pivot level.
Target next pivot.

Reasons against entry:
Entry in 'no mans land' (not taking off from pivot).
Signal candle not clear of MA5.

M5, M15:

Exit(+20 pips):

The trade hit the TP, after a move against me. If i had been managing the trade myself, i could have been scared to exit at BE. I really need to practice on my exits!

Best regards

From my screens, I still see differences. The first pic is FXDD, and second one is FXPro: (15M EU)

Hi....I haven't read it all yet but what I read before I posted it seemed to be quite valuable. I asked Seneca Pilot if I could post it here, and he's fine with it, so enjoy.

I've posted a link on Post #1 to it as well

Once again Asian session offered few nice setups. And just like you told before after those movements stoch is in extreme zones. Well, let's see if London will be nice enough.

What I particularly like about reading it so far is that even with my poor and broken English I don't need a dictionary since it is written in simple words

Yup....Tokyo session was good today. There is much conflicting opinions coming out of Japan as to whether the Yen is weak enough or needs to be weaker. Also companies like Sony, Toyota etc are jumping for joy and bowing to Abe San, but the reality is that his 'bold action' has rapidly devalued the Yen, and the consequences of this might be far reaching and not at all good for the long term.....and.....can they even control the Yen since sending it into freefall?

I'm glad we have a system to trade so we don't have to worry about such things, but to quote Noda San....I'll be 'watching closely'.......
