I have not been religously recording my trades, I kid myself that its because I wouldn't want anyone to follow my trades but in reality no one would be that stupid and I am just being lazy. However to keep the PVSRA experiment up to date I shall record them here warts and all. Its been a quiet day as half of Europe is taking time off anyway but last nights gapping action at the open triggered email alerts for me that lead to a few trades just after opening (ie around 10pm GMT). They were additional GU longs and EJ shorts. I have deliberately used more lots on GU to balance my books a bit as it has a narrower range than the yen pairs. On EJ I shorted at 132.036 having seen Fridays action and the gap.

Lastly I record my PVSRA pips in excel. Here is a graph for the last month (when I started). Looks wonderful? Well it would be except I am running existing positions that have drawdown equal to about three weeks of profit.....

Make no mistake this is a risky business. The experiment continues....

PVSRA, EU: MMs Bulls or Bears?

M15 shows nice push to below lower whole number. Lots of activity below 1/4SR before and after the strike below the whole number, too. Later, a strike below half number. PVSRA indicates as price is rising overall, the MMs periodically strike the price lower to add longs= MMs are bulls.

PVSRA, YEN Pairs with GJ as Example

M1 shows that just before the close of the London session the MMs hiked the price above the whole number with high activity at the last peak in price = MMs are bears continuing to seek high prices to close longs/add shorts.

Hi TAH,

I´m still trying to understand how do you study PVSRA to determine if MMs are bears or bulls, and I have a question. I attach you the same image u used but I highlighted other zone to argument my question.

Why are you saying MM's are pushing the price up to add shorts based only in the zone and volume. It's not the same situation than before? MM's pushing the price down to add longs? This is why I am so confused, because I don't know how to difference your example with my example. What is different?

PVSRA, GJ: MMs Bulls or Bears?

Tymedu,

Looking at just one TF, be it M15, or M1, or any single TF can be an insufficient analysis. It is best to place the determinations from the analysis on any single TF chart into the context of the bigger picture overall. All TF analyses should be in agreement, and sometimes when putting the individual TF results, as pieces of a puzzle together, what you see on any single TF becomes easier to analyze.

Btw, I also have the same problem with the fractal pip in the last version, but for me it's not a big deal
